This clown auto skip making a few videos and teach his wife how to keep a stove clean and how to keep a refrigerator clean. I can only imagine what the rest of the house looks like. Pretty disgusting I’m sure.
I wish your shop wasn’t on the other side of country from me, because I would’ve definitely bought this from you. Great find!!!
@@Casper.N.Nevada He lives off suckers like you, and laughs all the way to the bank. It’s disgusting.
Just got my dealers license, got my first 4 cars to sell, so thanks for the motivation. I'm changing careers at 44 years old and a bit terrified, but I'm hoping I can sell 2-3 cars a month
Don't quit your day job.....Uber.
You already did the hard part bro, making the transition. Now get obsessive about it in a good way. In other words, work your ass off. But keep in mind your thoughts are very powerful things. Don't focus, ever, on failure. Focus always on success like its a foregone conclusion. No matter what. If you're always fearful of failure and think about it all the time you'll manifest failure. Likewise, if you're confident you'll be a success then you'll manifest success. Believe it. Believe in yourself. Always stay positive and don't give way to fear and negativity. You got this bro.
How’s it going ?
@marcossifuentes9713 thanks for asking. Zero sold in January (expected) 2 sold in February and 2 so far in March.
So far the hardest part is not buying junkers.
I grabbed a Mitsubishi that had no announcements, has blown transmission.
Got a couple with bad brakes, easy.
Have 1 that needs a complete repaint. (In works)
Just getting the cars ready to sell is a full time job. Especially when I'm the mechanic, detailer, painter, janitor, salesman and sales manager 😅
@@stefanpufferwell my day job is Ebay. I do enough volume to pay the bills there with moderate effort. The issue is doing Ebay for a few hours a day while I also work on cars getting them ready for sale.
People want to hate Craig but the dealer offered it for sale for 700$ and he and his team put in the hard work! LiterAlly detailed and polished money into the car! I do it all the time !!
Haters are a miserable people. Worst way to exist.
U got that right.
People always hate because it wasn't them.... I find it Krazy how much info Craig gives us on being a car dealership...
Well a dealership would say that doesn’t add value nor does fixing it
craig is a douche
Good to see you acknowledging the excellent work your employees did on this one.
Craig makes it look so easy. Dozens of people gonna go out tomorrow and buy a turd thinking yhey can polish it and triple their money only to fall on their face.
THE CARTOONS ARE UN PROFESSIONAL!!!!
So are the repairs.
Title is misleading. Didn't teach anything about how to buy and flip cars. Most of us don't have access to auctions. All you did was show everyone a car you bought at auction, cleaned it up and put it up for sale.
And what was up with that hack job on the tailgate? Ductwork sheet metal, screws and caulk? Smh
He had his crew spend a week working on that thing yet he claims he's into it for only $1000 when just yesterday he said that a weeks worth of labor on that van cost him $4800. Something doesn't add up.
I did the truck bed coating on my Ranger 4x4 plastic parts of the front bumper and it looks amazing, and has held up perfectly for almost a year so far
That tailgate looks nasty. Who ever buys it at retail needs Jesus 😂
Facts this guy is such a scammer
Overreaction.
@@EldePHX I don't think you know what that word means
You have changed my mind about used car dealers, that said I'd say you are an exception to the rule. Thanks for being honest and open to us you tubers
He actually confirms my view of used car dealers. Cover any defect with hacky methods.
And he shows the video of what he did. He's not hiding anything
@@craigkaliebe1161 well he is a TH-camr, thus a video 😂
@@vadim7590 What would you do to this car? I don't like the tailgate ''fix'' but everything else was exactly what the car needed. So what would you suggest he do instead?
Always love your videos, Craig! I wish not only more dealers / sales reps had your level of expertise, integrity, courtesy, and professionalism. but more PEOPLE! Between your talent in the auto trade, plus your entertaining and informative videos, you should never want for employment.
I've been watching you since you had 30k subscribers. Quite a while now. Really like most of your content. If I may make a suggestion, limit the amount of jump cuts. Alot of them are just unnecessary. It chops the videos up so bad lately that it makes it difficult to watch. Now maybe the teens and 20 somethings like that stuff, but remember a good portion of your audience is 30's or 40's or 50's. Again, I enjoy your content and just my two cents Craig. Carry on.
Lipstick on a pig.
Trick the people.
That’s why used car dealers have a used car dealer reputation.
Especially high mileage car dealers.
Great content though.
He did more than most cheap used cars that I've seen on dealer lots where they just put tire shine and Armor All on everything with some matte black spray paint to hide the rust instead of at least somewhat repairing it.
@@chynacash3138 Why are you defending this shyster?
The straight 6 engine and transmission in those vehicles are beasts. Never had an issue with my 2005 Envoy. GM did something right for once.
Had a 2007 GMC Envoy. Bullet proof.
My mom had one put that thing through hell countless snows filled it with sheetrack shingles pull boats only big issue it had was the ac converter hoses rotted out
It's a straight 6? I thought it was the 3.6 or 3.8 motor
In-line 6 cylinder 4.2 liter 4200 series motors are great motors that can easily see 300k miles
@@hacatan24 I meant inline 6 cylinder. Not 6L
Don't pull the cluster use a magnet to kind of drag the needle back into place!
Those factor meals suck, I got them for a month and after the first week of eating the TV dinner style of meals. I started to fell bloated and found out they are filled with sodium. I wouldn't recommend them to people.
Wow, you're right. I just went to their website and looked at the first meal that was presented to me which was the Tuscan Tomato Chicken. One serving has 800 mg of sodium. That's insane!
Ive gotten rust and metal in my eyes .... Craig take the time use safety glasses! Nothing like them scraping residual rust off your cornea
I love the Trailblazer!! Had an '02 which I gave to my Daughter! We bought an '08 Which we still have! The engine in this vehicle is absolutely bullet proof!!
@4:00... I wouldn't be surprised if you can just replace the hatch with a good, non rusted one for about $300. Might even be cheaper than the labor cost to fix it (depending on what you pay your guys). @7:35... You MUST clear coat the headlights after your fix them or the WILL re-fade in just a couple of months. As a used car dealer, in a few months isn't your concern. However, for anyone doing this on their own car, take note, if you don't clear coat them, they'll fade again very quickly since polishing them removes the factory UV protective layer.
Finding the right color would be difficult, but definitely better than the cringe hack job they did.
Absolutely none of that is smart business for a used car dealer on a 5000 car
Not sure why he did not try to find a non rusted hatch first before putting in all the effort. I would think he could have found one and painted it.
@@common_c3nts Paint would have been $500. In color is ideal but finding an in color and rust free gate on the old of a car would be asking a bit much
Your body work on every vehicle is terrible. Him spraying the carpets made it look worse. I hope they didnt see the hatch 😬
It’s not a show car, If he spent the money to fix this “correctly” it would price it out of the market, He basically made the car as good as it can be for the money,
Tailgate repair looks like 💩
But the paint glistens in the sunlight. So does my B-hole when I wash it and yet it's still a B-hole.
@@stefanpuffer hahaha
@@stefanpufferbro you’re like the most aggressive hater. If what this man does bother you so much why do you watch the videos??
Drove a 2005 Chevy Trailblazer LS for 11 years. I actually did the needed maintenance (which wasn't much) and the vehicle (inline 6) was very good to me. Bought it for 16k and sold it for 5k. Was a very economical vehicle when taken care of. The sharpest, best looking? No. But if you took care of it; it was a good SUV with a sunroof that treated me well and allowed me to save a lot of money. Drive a Lexus LX570 (Lexus Land Cruiser) now. Much better vehicle; however the Trailblazer was good to me (despite what I see from other examples on the road). It's definitely easy to fix up and maintain yourself.
That's a hell of an upgrade 😂 I have a 2007 Chevy Trailblazer and can only afford to jump to a certified used Toyota 4Runner 😭 The Chevy has been a great truck though and I'd buy a newer one if Chevy didn't make them so small now - I've only had minor issues, I changed all the fluids regularly (transmission, oil, coolant, brake fluid, never the power steering fluid though since I had to have the rack and pinion replaced anyway lol) - Bought it for $7k and the dealer is offering me $3k to trade in but after this video I think I'll post it on Facebook Marketplace myself for a little more... Great cheap trucks overall.
I bought a 2002 fire engine red for $1,500 used and it treated me well. For 2 years I only had to put maybe $500 in it tops. And that was just for trailer arms and stabilizer links. Which is my fault running late to work. Speeding on the freeway in snow doing about 110 mph spinning out and did a 180 and they all snapped. Thank you God no one was hurt. Changed my own spark plugs and coils that's it. Unfortunately when I bought the truck the frame had a crack in it that was sealed with probably flex seal. Overtime the truck began to lean on the passenger side in front. I drove that truck until I couldn't drive it anymore it leaned so bad to the point that it wouldn't move anymore. Sold it for $700 it lasted for 2 years though strong. The only reason why I didn't get it welded is because the price was far more than what I paid for the truck so I just sold it.
Craig, brake parts cleaner is the same solution the dry cleaner uses. If brake parts cleaner won't take the stain out its not coming out. Old detailers trick from my days in college as the lead detailer at a dealership! Try it..... You're welcome. 😂
Craig great detailing tips I learn so much from your videos
Wonderful job
I’m sharing this video with family and friends
My best wishes always from Las Vegas Craig
Bravo
I ve watched most of ur videos & l can see u re trying ur best to teach others while being as open & honest as possible. I will advise u teach them, but be little more economical with information on ur profits. It exposes u to criticism. Some people will prefer to hear, u spent $1000, & sold it $1500 after a week of hard labour.
You win some, you loose some. This car was a winner
Love these style videos, Craig! Merry Christmas!

I love your videos when you detail and repair a car for sale. Your methods and work is great! Ignore the haters!
that spray shield makes me laugh in over spray.
Righteous content Craig. Love these peaks behind the curtain. You add tremendous value to the YT world.
You won’t but if you ever need an honest wholesaler to track down Texas cars and trucks down here - I know a guy. No rust down here
There's rust all along the Texas gulf coast.

@@stefanpuffer No rust on Houston cars.
Good to see you found some young guys that want to learn and aren't afraid to get their hands dirty and work. The last kid was a bust. He is probably sitting in his mom's basement doing bong hits and playing video games wondering why he doesn't have a car.
I use truck bed coating for much of the same type of thing that you are doing but ALWAYS clear coat over top ot it will fade like you Cadilac did.
Loved it...I have an 02 4runner w/425K. This showed me some ways to spruce my ol' girl up! Love the blue!
Hell yeah teaching em how to clean huh, I'm about to leave to work in a minute to go detail at this auction I work at. Detailing all day everyday. Work in Detail . Going to save money and start buying and selling cars from there. 🎉🎉
Thanks for the great videos. I have learned some great tips from watching. Wish you were in the Dallas area. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to your family and team.
Excellent work and now suv looks great and yes $5000 sounds about right
The main reason for doing the fiberglass filler first is.... It doesn't absorb water like the regular filler that can hold moisture against the metal causing it to rust underneath again.
Back then these Trail Blazers were like the track hawk back then. these suvs use to show out when they have 400+HP 😂

Try a strong magnet on the cluster and pull the needle back to original position, takes a few minutes versus all the labor to remove and repair gauge cluster.

Great job on this one. The color does look great and the seats were in such good shape. Nice profit too. I have to get a dealers license, coparts and Facebook profits are getting smaller every flip for me.
Great job brother, I myself love detailing cars ever since I was a teenager I worked at Embassy motors 78 ,79,80's Camaro''s Z28' TransAm so much fun, still love it after 40yrs. Merry Christmas God bless you and your family. Turtle!

A heat gun can bring back faded plastics. It's actually amazing how far faded it can be and will look great again.
Great video. It’s a nice looking suv.
Have you ever had a good video like this one backfire. Possibly the buyer not being thrilled after they see how the sausage was made?
Heck, that thing looks amazing. If I lived anywhere near there, I would go test drive it. You hit a home run with that 1. Thanks. 4 the content
So Craig, I've seen on other videos using a heat gun to bring back black plastic. I guess the UV from the sun wipes out the oils in the plastic. The heat gun brings it back !
The heat gun works but makes the plastic brittle

I wish I lived near Craig so I could use him as my go-to for finding my next vehcile
You don't trust him enough to buy something from him sight unseen and have it shipped to you?
@@stefanpuffer i suppose I could do that, but never really thought I was ready to buy a car without having seen it in person and test driven it. The other thing is shipping is going to add cost, maybe more than I'd like
@@stefanpuffer The other thing I just thought of is if it does have an issue, i could bring it back and hed probably take car of it. Can't really do that if it's shipped for hundreds of miles.
Back to black also brings the life of the plastics back and it can get on paint just dries off
Great video Craig. You made a nice solid SUV for sale. Low mileage for the year and a solid drivetrain, someone is going to buy a nice SUV!
Rustolium trim and bumper paint works great also.
Every video is full of information. Good video👍
That trailblazer look amazing great job...
Try propane torch on the discoloured plastics brings them right back.
Craig, what’s that lil dark blue TJ I spy with my little eye in the background? 🧐
Craig should open a vintage car restoration business!
This is an EXT(the rear fenders dont get into the door like they do on the regular 02-09 TBs and its got a third row), and it's an LS model. that's the cheapest combo, and you still sold it 3000 over what KBB says my non-EXT LT model is, and i have the most expensive one, according to KBB. Ontop of that its the 4200 Vortec(4.3L inline 6) while the 5300 Vortecs(5.3L V8, basically a more reliable LS motor) are more sought after.
Also, clean the throttle body, it's a huge issue.
Sorce: I own a 2004 Trailblazer LT non extended. Ive had it for 6 years and it has over 213k miles at this point and its still my daily.
Edit: spelling
CRAIG, you almost never have / buy cars with check engine light on. At least this is what the videos you have show . I feel that this is hard to believe . In my limited experience about 70 % or 80% of used cars for sale below $5,000 have a check engine light on. Maybe you can do a few videos on that ,and show how you deal with one .
I have owned a few lift it up all terrain tires and brush bumper and roof rack and headlights upgraded and stereo upgraded and window rain gaurds and bug shield and wrench setup and jumper cables setup and remote start and block heater and ? Carpet cleaner or replacement 400 smells good and looks great and cavity fell with wax from 3 m and coat frame and 2 inch wheel spacers and used nice wheels and tires from big chevy truck and suvs or traverse and tow hitch rack with box to put gas cans too
Blue on black 🖤 sunroof and 3 roll rare

Nice quick flip
Am intrigued at the profit you made on it and the amount of repairs you personally did.

Papa Al bought that for you on your 1st birthday? Or did you make a mistake? Just curious. That's really cool, whenever, just curious if it really was your 1st birthday. My dad bought me a mini bike at 5 yrs old! But only a G.I Joe doll at 1 yr old! Lol.
Not a hater, but as an owner of a used car dealership too what he did to that tailgate is why people hate used car dealers, That is a hack job to say the least. Repair or replace, don't hide. Its unethical. I don't sell anything that I wouldn't sell my neighbor. Don't hide stuff to make money, that is being a dirtbag.
Exactly and it's got nothing to do with hate. What this guy did was just cover up spots long enough to sell it. The spray paint on the carpet, the trunk and the unmatched touch up paint. That is the work of a scoundrel.
