Interestingly the digital copies of the original Ocean dub run all have this break inserted into each episode for the commercial break. The uploader must have taken the time to edit them in, which is fine by me. I even have Toonami intros and bumpers on my episode playlist for them for full nostalgia.

If you grew up in Canada in the 90’s and 2000’s you’ll remember a lot of these. It used to be normal to hate the funimation dub when we would go months to a year with oceans dub for it suddenly switch and at that time, Canadian television company’s didn’t have the rights past a certain point for the show so it would loop. Maddening.
It's really weird seeing Dragon Ball Z with that CN logo. I know DBZ was still airing on it for a couple years after the change, I just don't associate this show with that era of Cartoon Network.

Unfortunately the SKY decoder box had a low volume that I missed as it aired in the morning while I was at high school, and was on a mono VCR as that's all I had back then, so the audio is very bad. That was the only time both eyecatchers were shown funny enough as they didn't go to an ad break then which skipped them. Only the second half played on the episode after one time. I lost my mind when I noticed it was in there as there wasn't a single recording online at the time. If I remember correctly, that was uploaded back on Cartoon World forum when it was still around, I was still under the name DragoonClawNZ then too. Thankfully this eyecatch did eventually get a full proper version released via the Rock the Dragon DVD set along with the later Namek one that (RIP) Doc Harris narrated.
