@@Bacano115 i have both. On the Type R still have the Mercylion one. Both are great tbh. But overall i like the FitCamX little better because of the app
I have the same one except i also got the rear camera. If i wear doing the front only, it may have taken me less than 10mins. The rear added time because i had to fish the wire to the back Good video!
@@Vmontante I used a rod tool that I had left over from passing wires inside my wall for mounting a TV in my living room. So my wires run pretty much through the middle of the headliner.
I need to take the camera out to sell the car. That front piece is causing me problems. I can’t figure out how to use the tool to split the camera front back in half without breaking it. Can you take front part back apart once it is connected?
@@NamedLisandroCould I ask? Do you put the tool in the crack down the middle and try to just put pressure and it will pop apart? I’m having trouble getting the tool into the crack cause it is too tightly connected together.
the design definitely changed so in my opinion it doesn't look as sleek as the one you have in the video anymore.... anyone have the newer design and can share if quality is still good?
I have this on my car, absolutely amazing!
Superb tutorial
Lisandro what are your thoughts on the FitcamX over the Mercylion dash? It looks like you changed the dashcams. Just curious why
