Having begun my astrological journey with log tables, slide rules, and calculations by hand (I was a math major at the time, before switching to engineering), and being introduced to Dane Rudhyar's concept of the astrological mandala (after growing up with a Spirograph as my favorite "toy") early in my studies, I found no aspect to be "minor", and I love that Rick bristles at the use of the term. [The course on Harmonics promises to be excellent!]. These days, I think of aspects between heavenly bodies the way I think of molecular bonds between atoms in chemistry: the angles between atoms literally characterize the way a substance interacts with another substance, just as the angles between the heavenly bodies in an astrology chart characterize how an individual interacts with other individuals. Such amazing correspondences!
When I was a child and attending a catholic school, I used my.left hand predominantly. My left hand was tied behind me and I was labeled "full of the devil". I was always asking questions about information given to us that seemed abusive. Like the concept of "pagan babies" and the chuchs need to persecute native american children and people of other religions. I was still creative and often used my left hand in secret. I carried a pencil and paper with me everywhere, and drew fanciful pictures of nature and my dreams.
Great topic, in the uk back in the dark ages pre Tudor times to be allowed to study medicine (barber surgeons)you had to study 5 years of astrology first, then along came Decartes and the philosophy of separation of mind from body, body being a machine and treated as such. All fascinating stuff 👍🌞
My best math teacher was actually our math teacher and art teacher. She was great at both and even better at aiding the understanding of her students. I struggled to retain math after summer break but she got me back on track so quickly when I had her. It was also not lost on me way back then that she was "left and right" brained! I was just telling my 7 year old, who is left handed about the left and right brain concepts as well as dexter/ambidextrous from what I could remember Rick saying a while back :).
As a mathematician, the mathematics in astrology is what drew me to it. I have taught high school geometry and calculus for over a decade. I have studied the golden ratio/phi, sacred geometry, astrology, and many other metaphysical topics. I resonate with Rick’s description of how some can perceive the non-physical as easily as most can perceive the physical. I am a psychic/medium/channel. I am aware of so many things around me that I had to learn to trust. I have Jupiter biquintile my NN (4 minutes) and my ascendant quintile my SN by 1 minute. Jupiter is decile my Ascendant by 1 minute. Still looking for info about these aspects to the angles and nodes, especially in the 5th and 10th harmonic. Thank you for this video! I felt the energetic buzz of it as soon as I saw the title.
I would love to study with Rick one on one! Goodness, this video was synchronistic. I have a lot of quintiles and septiles in my chart and think all aspects must have a voice at the table or the table can break or cease to exist.

It is a beautiful book that is all about the blending and integration of science and art, logic and magic, physical and metaphysical, known and unknown.
Today is a day of making. Choosing is the daily basis. A day is new it is living in alignment with self throughout the day being aligned in the day in the night everyday every night. Shining Light bright in alignment creates creation to happen. The path was known. The past life is as you say. Life is knowing this time around we see the light as we are the light. Bringing light to knowing. A life that was is now new in a life that knows. Other then is right. A order is being placed it is now in balance. Making a change as is coming from a energy we step forward. Being bold as one that knows a focus is being made to become self in a moment the change comes. Now we are right in comfort we love to be a shape as it shifts. In a environment we are, shaping it to change as we change, showing things that change who one is in a power. We have the power. A power is given to one when one is on the right line of time, we are aligned with a time of change. A core is feeling a knowing it reaches the tree that cares. For a greater balance is at the core of soul we are a feeling beyond time. A tree is real, one as a communication we talk as real to a tree as one would. One knows the language. We have been here as a communication in a understanding we know the tree, it knows us. Working a foundation into a space we are grounded in being. One is now a way. A process is being worked as a value of a moment. Doing keeping in being, a direction is set in going with a thing that happens we can become a direction, a way of knowing is now being made. I've always said that we never know how many wonderful concert pianists, artists etc there are in the world who will never have access to a piano or paint brushes, ballet shoes or lessons then they never get to express those talents, it is skewed towards the wealtheir in any society.

I have Jupiter inconjunct Uranus. In 2016, when Uranus crossed my natal Jupiter conjunct by transit, I ended up needing and getting an emergency, lifesaving surgery. My life was physically almost stopped, and then brought back to life with a sudden emergency successful surgery. Nothing like that had ever happened to me before, and it they didn't know how to diagnose it at first, so my kidney's were about to shut down. My stomach had tied itself in a knot, like a balloon. The doctors kept asking me if I had been in a car accident, because they could not understand why it happened. I am all better now, thank goodness.
Loved this!!! I am an artist (singer, violinist, actress, dancer, visual artist) and I have counted 11 Quintiles (all with 0° orbs) and 7 bi-Quintiles (five with 0° orbs and two with 1°orbs) on my chart! 💗💗💗
Damn-it you guys just made my chart a whole lot more geometrically busy, as if I didn't have enough lines in the Northern Hemisphere to reveal the cool stuff I knew but didn't know what influenced it. Pluto 26° AC Leo to Mercury 7° Scorpio, then compounding that Mercury jumping to Mars 20° of Capricorn. Oh then we got the Sun12° Libra shooting back to a conjunction of Jupiter/ Uranus at exact 27° (within 7 minutes) of Cancer (the only planets above the horizon). Not to mention Saturn is only 1° from Mercury sa the story just gets deeper.

I have a lot of septiles too, and it's true, it's hard to manifest this creativity into something palpable for others. My first book is super hard to read. I will probably self-publish. This second book I'm actually going to add the water element to working with the physical and dream body as I have a grand water trine making aspects to my quintiles. I'm so happy and grateful for Rick, Astrology Hub team, Amanda, you all here and TH-cam for allowing me to be in this moment with you all. I consider myself as an orb snob, but open minded. Astrology is like french - so many rules, every rule has an exception to the rule that changes everything so I give myself the freedom to make exceptions if I feel lost. The Quincunx & Bi Quintiles r an issue in my personal chart so I had to research in depth & make a decision early in my astrological understanding. I’m a mathematician but my instinct is also in favour of a well defined orb method. I learned from my experience that the faster u fly - the more power u get, every action impacts harder, it’s a fixed & precise energy that should be applied in the maths as well. I use max 3 orb for both Quintile & semi-Sexstile. For a Quincunx I use only 2, but I’m still ruminating about the fine angels. If I use 3 for all this group it makes sense - 141 up to 147 it’s a Bi Quintile and above is a Quincunx 147-153. With a wider orb they get into one another’s territory, don't they? When u want to use the same logic/rule for the Septile deviation(by 7) - U need to check the Triple-Septile 51.2*3= 154.285714 which is also in the neighbourhood. The 154.28 triple-Septile(orb range 151-157~) is overlapping with the Quincunx - the division by 12 - the number on which the whole system is built & the way we keep time.. I would expect it to be harmonic but maybe this is exactly like learning French & I just encountered another exception to the rule. What if it’s a new rule? The division by 7 doesn't end up with round numbers - as such it carries a different character & behave differntly. When u consider the harmonics as the Meta becoming reality it makes perfect sense that the connection is not linear & harmonic as the round circle or the reality as we see it. Confusing.. I would love to learn more on the Course in Feb.. Another wild thought - If u view the angels from Aries zero point then the Quintile falls in the Taurus-Aquarius realm while the Bi-Quintile falls in the realm of Virgo-Scorpio. Maybe we can use the spirit of the house the same we do for other angels & get more information about the talent the chart holds?
this is very interesting, ...and if we are multidimensionals hailing from the dimensions of other planets, and stars, etc, all those concurrent charts forming sacred geometrical fields on each dimension! love it!

Nothing like that had ever happened to me before, and it they didn't know how to diagnose it at first, so my kidney's were about to shut down. My stomach had tied itself in a knot, like a balloon. The doctors kept asking me if I had been in a car accident, because they could not understand why it happened. I am all better now, thank goodness.
Loved this!!! I am an artist (singer, violinist, actress, dancer, visual artist) and I have counted 11 Quintiles (all with 0° orbs) and 7 bi-Quintiles (five with 0° orbs and two with 1°orbs) on my chart! 💗💗💗

Damn-it you guys just made my chart a whole lot more geometrically busy, as if I didn't have enough lines in the Northern Hemisphere to reveal the cool stuff I knew but didn't know what influenced it. Pluto 26° AC Leo to Mercury 7° Scorpio, then compounding that Mercury jumping to Mars 20° of Capricorn. Oh then we got the Sun12° Libra shooting back to a conjunction of Jupiter/ Uranus at exact 27° (within 7 minutes) of Cancer (the only planets above the horizon). Not to mention Saturn is only 1° from Mercury sa the story just gets deeper.
My mother read that book when it came out! I have never heard anyone else refer to it in my life. I love it

I have a lot of septiles too, and it's true, it's hard to manifest this creativity into something palpable for others. My first book is super hard to read. I will probably self-publish. This second book I'm actually going to add the water element to working with the physical and dream body as I have a grand water trine making aspects to my quintiles. I'm so happy and grateful for Rick, Astrology Hub team, Amanda, you all here and TH-cam for allowing me to be in this moment with you all. I hope we all have an amazing 2023 filled with fresh avenues to make our desires manifest!

I consider myself as an orb snob, but open minded.
Astrology is like french - so many rules, every rule has an exception to the rule that changes everything so I give myself the freedom to make exceptions if I feel lost.
The Quincunx & Bi Quintiles r an issue in my personal chart so I had to research in depth & make a decision early in my astrological understanding.
I’m a mathematician but my instinct is also in favour of a well defined orb method.
I learned from my experience that the faster u fly - the more power u get, every action impacts harder, it’s a fixed & precise energy that should be applied in the maths as well.
I use max 3 orb for both Quintile & semi-Sexstile. For a Quincunx I use only 2, but I’m still ruminating about the fine angels.
If I use 3 for all this group it makes sense -
141 up to 147 it’s a Bi Quintile and above is a Quincunx 147-153. With a wider orb they get into one another’s territory, don't they?
When u want to use the same logic/rule for the Septile deviation(by 7) - U need to check the Triple-Septile 51.2*3= 154.285714 which is also in the neighbourhood.
The 154.28 triple-Septile(orb range 151-157~) is overlapping with the Quincunx - the division by 12 - the number on which the whole system is built & the way we keep time..
I would expect it to be harmonic but maybe this is exactly like learning French & I just encountered another exception to the rule.
What if it’s a new rule? The division by 7 doesn't end up with round numbers - as such it carries a different character & behave differntly.
When u consider the harmonics as the Meta becoming reality it makes perfect sense that the connection is not linear & harmonic as the round circle or the reality as we see it.
Confusing.. I would love to learn more on the Course in Feb..
Another wild thought -
If u view the angels from Aries zero point then the Quintile falls in the Taurus-Aquarius realm while the Bi-Quintile falls in the realm of Virgo-Scorpio. Maybe we can use the spirit of the house the same we do for other angels & get more information about the talent the chart holds?
