Welcome to the Labyrinth, everyone! This a huge part of the story of Silent Hill 2, as if we're pulling off the metaphorical bandage before we get to Lakeview Hotel, the game's finale! 1:34:25 For some reason, Eddie gave me vibes of a Psychopath of Dead Rising, as unlike the bosses of Silent Hill, he isn't a bizarre monster, only a deranged guy that was very traumatized for the constant abuse, to the point of turn him in a paranoid person that believes that everybody, including the protagonist, are plotting against him, leading him to become hostile.
I don't know too much about Dead Rising, but it's been a game I've meant to check out eventually. It's an absolute shame Eddie's paranoia pushed him to this point. If you listen to his dialogue right before his fight, you can definitely see him delving into insanity, but at the same time, I can't help but wonder what would've happened if he had someone to talk to about all this. All these feelings stayed pent up in his mind, and it resulted in him wanting to take another life.
@@BackloggedYGO Agreed. Eddie was certainly a tragic figure. As his situation would be prevented, if a kind-hearted person from his school would support him. Sadly, he had deal with this bullying, alone, molding Eddie in a very resented and vengenful person.
