I think the mask of Wolveseif was separated because of the wolverine's mask pattern, don't thin merge this is the way if that was the reason. Agree with the eyes shape and the font.

Where do you get your typography? I downloaded fonts from dafont.com but I don’t think I can use most of them because they have rules about using their fonts and have a license attached to them.
