Good ideas! I love the Glock knife. There was a series of videos a few years ago where someone puts knives through severe torture tests, and the Glock was one of the only knives he simply could not destroy. The sheath has no glass fiber to dull the edge when you withdraw it, and the knife is locked so securely in the sheath that it cannot come out accidentally, and no one can pull it out of your sheath by simply pulling on it. It also secures to your belt extremely well.
@@Ryan-dg5mt You just have to push it out to the side far enough to let it go into it slot. It feels like it will break but it will not. I don’t keep my like that, it grips my belts well enough without having it latches. I hope this helps.
Off subject: I'm on business for the first time in your home country of Argentina. Like you said in your great book, burglar bars on all the windows and everyone has a gate. Very helpful in SHTF.
You might be interested in the Gerlach wz98 (different versions) and the Gerlach OSA. Hardly any informations in english out there. The wz98 is glockish.
Awesome vid especially for the sharpening mod but I'm wondering my didn't you just use the hollow part of the handle for storage? Is it not big enough?
I’ve had one of these for about 10yrs. It was probably sub 20$ from what I remember. I prefer the mora knives, they are disposable cheap and high quality.
Me too! I bought a none glock pistol on purpose but the knife.. right away! Always made fun of glock fans.... now im considering myseld as one. But on the cold weapon section :d
The entrenchment shovel from Glock is a must for the professional soldier too..

You know the butt cap can be removed (for bayonet)
I already have one you're going to make me want to get a second one 😉
Just ONE?! That's mean man, you know how lonely that poor Glock knife feels? Its Austrian, no other knife in your collection speaks his language.. :-)
Glock knives have been great! A nice tool that is well made at an affordable price.
What do you think of the saw on this knife? Is it of any use?

im starting to feel like these arent available anymore because everyone on youtube who has a review of it have like 5 of them lol
I have the 81, but the old edition with the Glock logo is like a circle, is it good or not?
Thank you for your information, it helped me a lot
Glocks are good knifes for intended purpose. Very durable and hard to break, old ones arent different from new ones. 81 is 78 but with teeths
@@polskipolak9073 Thanks for your comment it helped me
