I signed up for their free newsletter just for kicks and giggles, and let me tell you. Their response to all of this has been hilarious. Even after being called out that this is all a scam, they're still trying to defend it.

I used to use anime tube on xbox and it actually wasn't bad. With the amount of ads on the side i doubt they even needed more funding :/

They had a well known artist promote their Kickstarter. Unfortunately it was their first sponsor and overlooked many details. They backed out of it 2 days after though.
