BTS are definitely still together! They are not able to focus on group activities right now due to having to fulfill their mandatory military service requirements and they really did need a break. There are lots solo projects right now. The members think of each other as brothers and their fans (ARMY) as family. Glad you gave them a chance.
BTS are on break due to mandatory military service. You'll find that each of the seven members are currently working, or have released solo albums. Jin the oldest member has already gone into the military as well as J-hope, the dance leader and third oldest in the group. I can recommend tons of songs by them if you're interested in hearing more from them. You'll love BTS. Their one of the most authentic groups you'll find. There are others, but the majority of K-pop groups don't have as much creative freedom as they do. Every member of BTS has written a song and they are very deep. Their most upbeat songs actually are their most political songs. Their slowest songs are either the most comforting, or lyrically deep songs. RM, Jin, Suga, J-hope, Jimin, V and Jungkook are the names of the members. Many ARMY's(fans) like me will tell you, if your trying to identify the members, don't do it by hair color. They've dyed their hair so many times that you'll get confused very easily. Instead, try and identify them by their voices. RM(the leader) has a deep and aggressive tone when he raps. Suga(name is short for shooting guard his favorite basketball position. It does not mean sugar at all) is known for a soft spoken rap style, fast rap, and aggressiveness depending on the type of song. J-hope(dance leader) is known for cadance because his rap is more sung than spoken, but can have an aggressiveness if the song requires it. RM, Suga, and J-hope make up the Rap-line in BTS and they usually write most of the songs. Jin is known for having a "Silver voice" he learned how to belt his voice and can often hit some pretty high notes and sings in lower registers most of the time, but his vocals are very clear and very stable. Jimin(lead singer, main dancer) is known for his uniquely pitched high voice and is often confused for a girl(I can guarantee you I made that mistake before), but he has very breathy vocals and often adds a little squeak at the end of each note. V is the baritone of the group, which means that he has the widest range. V has the deepest vocals and he is the only member who can hit a C6 note. Jungkook(main vocalist) he's known for his high and low registers and you'll see him harmonize with many of the members. He sometimes has the most lines or he'll adlib a lot in some songs. He's also the youngest of the group. I hope this can help you to identify the members in the future. One more thing, BTS music videos are very unique because they rarely use CGI or green screen. Because of this, a lot of their music videos have real explosions, fire, cables, and harnesses etc. If you need proof, check out behind the scenes videos. Their company didn't have the budget for green screens back in the early days of their career. Even though the label has a big budget now, they still choose to make videos without green screen. Even though they are in a break, they are still releasing tons of music (solos and prerecorded songs as a group). BTS have a huge discography that expands over their 10 year old career, but to start I would recommend you "ON Kinetic Manifesto Film", "Fake Love", "Black Swan" and "Mic Drop". As for live performances, I recommend you the "BTS Tiny Desk Concert" which showcases their amazing live vocals and the "Room Festa Live" which is a song mashup that perfectly shows the genre diversity of their music. BTS are still very much together however they have put a pause on group activities while they focus on solo projects and to perform their mandatory military service. I lowkey dont like it when people's first reaction to BTS is their English songs, cuz they are so much bigger than these songs offer. But, it is what it is, and hopefully you listen to their deeper songs in the future 💜 oh, btw... They sound better live. Lol
They are still together, but they are on rest from group activities bc all of them have to serve 18 months in the military (all able bodied men have to do it). So Jin and J-hope are already serving and more members will be joining soon. While they can't put out projects together they are releasing a lot of solo content (they've always done solo project while being BTS, but that's now a focus for them since they can't be together, they are set to come back in 2025 once they've all finished their service and they often talk abt how much they are anticipating it). The members: RM - released his first solo album "Indigo" which a lyrical masterpiece (he has solo mixtapes and collabs outside of BTS as well) Jin - released his solo song "The Astronaut" (has had many solo songs withing BTS albums over the years) Suga - Just released a new album and is currently on a solo tour (has had solo mixtapes and produces for other artists too) J-hope - Released his new solo album "Jack in The Box" and headlined lolappaloza last year (has other solos projects too like his previous album and solo songs within BTS albums) Jimin - Released his solo album "Face" and had his song "Like Crazy" debut #1 on billboard hot 100 (it's the video you thought wasn't a BTS song) V - Has had many solo songs in and outside of BTS albums Jungkook - Has had many solo songs in and outside of BTS albums, and his sang the World Cup Song "Dreamers" last year. Just a tip that might make your life a lot easier, throw out everything you THINK you know abt boybands and what BTS music is like. You haven't even scratched the surface of what they can do. They are actually still together. Right now they focuse more on releasing solo music because they all have to complete mandatory military service in south korea. They plan to come back as a band in 2025. We all thought that we would have a bit of a break up until then (and time to catch up with all of their content wich is a lot) but they released so many songs this and last year. And I really recommend you to check out their solo work. It's amazing. They are also releasing a song as a gift for ARMY (that's how bts's fandom is called) on the 9 June for their 10 years anniversary.

The song You saw and doubted if it was BTS - yes, technically it is. This and next year all the members are releasing solo songs because they have to go to do military service in S. Korea. They are very much together, on June 9th we’re getting a new group song since it’s FESTA (June is a month they debuted in 10 years ago). So as background info they're not disbanded officially however they are on hiatus and are expected to reunite in 2025. South korean men are ALL expected to serve in the military, so right now, 2 out of 7 have started their service with another 1 or 2 expected to join in the next month or so. They have to serve a minimum of 1.5 years so yeah, us fans are in for a long wait. Good news is they are using the hiatus to release solo projects (4 of them have released an album, 1 in the military got a single out, and the last 2 members will hopefully have an album out each before the end of the year). Also this month is the 10 year anniversary of their formation so they're dropping a new song this month! Woo!

Love BTS! These were more of their pop tracks, but they can do almost any genre. You want artistic…go for Blood Sweat & Tears and Black Swan. You want dance…go for Fire, Not Today, Dope, and Mic Drop. More pop…go for Permission to Dance and Idol. They have so many great ones. They also do multiple videos on some songs. On Butter, they have a couple of different remix versions. There is also a quick one minute dance break video with a Meghan thee stallion verse. My favorite multiple is On: a Kinetic Film…they have a dance version and a couple of more mini film versions. They are amazing

Their live performances are totally fire. TOTALLY FIRE. They have some award show performances that are out of this world. Their concerts are incredible. They have a large collection of excellent MVs (these are some of the lighter offerings), with stunning songs and hard-hitting songs, most of which have considerable meaning. Their songs are eclectic of many different genres. And, if you decide to delve into performances, you'll see a larger subset of their incredible repertoire. Note that there are three rappers and four vocalists, and they are very involved in the writing and producing of their music (less so Dynamite and Butter which were to cheer up their fans during the Covid lockdown). Believe me, you'll be missing out if you don't check out more BTS. BTS is more than KPOP but do check out KPOP, too, if you like.

As of June 2023, while they're on a "break," BTS individual members and the whole group have released 56 songs in the past year. 😄😄 Some songs with multiple versions. They really don't know how to slow down. Love them so much!
Yes they still exist as a group they debuted in 2013 This is their 10th year anniversary. The one you thought was not BTS released a couple of months ago is in fact one of the BTS members, Jimin. Military services mandatory in South Korea and two of them have already left for that so they are technically on a break as a group and tell all their military services are done but they are all releasing solo work and solo albums in the meantime. They have hundreds of songs out and you're just scratched the surface. They began as a hip hop group they have three rappers and four vocalists. Their genres include hip hop, pop, EDM, R&B, Latin pop and ballad.
The girl is American singer Halsey! Their first collab with another artist. Shes great too! Look her up! She still is friends with them, a true ARMY, and talant herself.💜👍🙂
For live performances, in 2019 BTS sold out 2 nights at Wembley Stadium. BTS has sold out multiple days at many Stadiums around the world. Some up-tempo songs you might like include "Mic Drop", "Idol", "ON Kinetic Manifesto Film: Come Prima", and of course "Fire" which really is fire. I find a lot of female kpop songs too 'cutesy', with BTS they have so much variety and depth of lyrics that there is more than enough to keep you engaged for a long time. By the way, your reaction video was quite short. BTS ARMY (fans) will happily watch reactions that are over an hour.

BTS are definitely still together! They are not able to focus on group activities right now due to having to fulfill their mandatory military service requirements and they really did need a break. There are lots solo projects right now. The members think of each other as brothers and their fans (ARMY) as family. Glad you gave them a chance.

BTS are on break due to mandatory military service. You'll find that each of the seven members are currently working, or have released solo albums. Jin the oldest member has already gone into the military as well as J-hope, the dance leader and third oldest in the group. I can recommend tons of songs by them if you're interested in hearing more from them. You'll love BTS. Their one of the most authentic groups you'll find. There are others, but the majority of K-pop groups don't have as much creative freedom as they do. Every member of BTS has written a song and they are very deep. Their most upbeat songs actually are their most political songs. Their slowest songs are either the most comforting, or lyrically deep songs. RM, Jin, Suga, J-hope, Jimin, V and Jungkook are the names of the members.
Many ARMY's(fans) like me will tell you, if your trying to identify the members, don't do it by hair color. They've dyed their hair so many times that you'll get confused very easily. Instead, try and identify them by their voices. RM(the leader) has a deep and aggressive tone when he raps. Suga(name is short for shooting guard his favorite basketball position. It does not mean sugar at all) is known for a soft spoken rap style, fast rap, and aggressiveness depending on the type of song. J-hope(dance leader) is known for cadance because his rap is more sung than spoken, but can have an aggressiveness if the song requires it. RM, Suga, and J-hope make up the Rap-line in BTS and they usually write most of the songs. Jin is known for having a "Silver voice" he learned how to belt his voice and can often hit some pretty high notes and sings in lower registers most of the time, but his vocals are very clear and very stable. Jimin(lead singer, main dancer) is known for his uniquely pitched high voice and is often confused for a girl(I can guarantee you I made that mistake before), but he has very breathy vocals and often adds a little squeak at the end of each note. V is the baritone of the group, which means that he has the widest range. V has the deepest vocals and he is the only member who can hit a C6 note. Jungkook(main vocalist) he's known for his high and low registers and you'll see him harmonize with many of the members. He sometimes has the most lines or he'll adlib a lot in some songs. He's also the youngest of the group. I hope this can help you to identify the members in the future.
One more thing, BTS music videos are very unique because they rarely use CGI or green screen. Because of this, a lot of their music videos have real explosions, fire, cables, and harnesses etc. If you need proof, check out behind the scenes videos. Their company didn't have the budget for green screens back in the early days of their career. Even though the label has a big budget now, they still choose to make videos without green screen.

They are very much still together. Currently they are on a break because of the mandatory military service in South Korea (2 of the members, Jin and Jhope, have already enlisted) and they will be back in 2025 as a group. Even though they are in a break, they are still releasing tons of music (solos and prerecorded songs as a group).
BTS have a huge discography that expands over their 10 year old career, but to start I would recommend you "ON Kinetic Manifesto Film", "Fake Love", "Black Swan" and "Mic Drop".
As for live performances, I recommend you the "BTS Tiny Desk Concert" which showcases their amazing live vocals and the "Room Festa Live" which is a song mashup that perfectly shows the genre diversity of their music. These lives lack their incredible choreography, but they are great so start with to see their amazing chemestry as a group and their talent.

You have to be careful watching other K pop groups , that's all I'll say. RM, SUGA and J-Hope are rappers, JK, Jimin, V and Jin are the vocal line. The are together, they are on Military leave,( some of them) due to military. We will watch them all day long, you'll see. no such thing as too long.

They are still together, but they are on rest from group activities bc all of them have to serve 18 months in the military (all able bodied men have to do it). So Jin and J-hope are already serving and more members will be joining soon. While they can't put out projects together they are releasing a lot of solo content (they've always done solo project while being BTS, but that's now a focus for them since they can't be together, they are set to come back in 2025 once they've all finished their service and they often talk abt how much they are anticipating it).

Jin - released his solo song "The Astronaut" (has had many solo songs withing BTS albums over the years)

And I really recommend you to check out their solo work. It's amazing.
They are also releasing a song as a gift for ARMY (that's how bts's fandom is called) on the 9 June for their 10 years anniversary.

So as background info they're not disbanded officially however they are on hiatus and are expected to reunite in 2025. South korean men are ALL expected to serve in the military, so right now, 2 out of 7 have started their service with another 1 or 2 expected to join in the next month or so. They have to serve a minimum of 1.5 years so yeah, us fans are in for a long wait. Good news is they are using the hiatus to release solo projects (4 of them have released an album, 1 in the military got a single out, and the last 2 members will hopefully have an album out each before the end of the year). Also this month is the 10 year anniversary of their formation so they're dropping a new song this month! Woo!
Their live performance at MaMa 2019 is a must watch! 💜….I also recommend A Guide to BTS by Taylor….as they sing a lot of different genres..💜

Love BTS! These were more of their pop tracks, but they can do almost any genre. You want artistic…go for Blood Sweat & Tears and Black Swan. You want dance…go for Fire, Not Today, Dope, and Mic Drop. More pop…go for Permission to Dance and Idol. They have so many great ones. They also do multiple videos on some songs. On Butter, they have a couple of different remix versions. There is also a quick one minute dance break video with a Meghan thee stallion verse.
My favorite multiple is On: a Kinetic Film…they have a dance version and a couple of more mini film versions. They are amazing
they are still very much together lol they're just taking a break from group activities because of the mandatory military in south korea. Two of the members (Jin, J-hope) are currently in the military and the rest of the members are releasing solo albums (which are all very successful and brilliant btw). Even though they're on a break, they still release new songs every month! And the members support eachother so much! o
One of the members (Suga/AgustD) even made a youtube show mainly to promote the members solo albums! They're very close like real brothers.
Their live performances are totally fire. TOTALLY FIRE. They have some award show performances that are out of this world. Their concerts are incredible. They have a large collection of excellent MVs (these are some of the lighter offerings), with stunning songs and hard-hitting songs, most of which have considerable meaning. Their songs are eclectic of many different genres. And, if you decide to delve into performances, you'll see a larger subset of their incredible repertoire. Note that there are three rappers and four vocalists, and they are very involved in the writing and producing of their music (less so Dynamite and Butter which were to cheer up their fans during the Covid lockdown). Believe me, you'll be missing out if you don't check out more BTS. BTS is more than KPOP but do check out KPOP, too, if you like.

P.s. Bts is still a group. But due to the fact that in Korea every man has to undergo military service(18 months), the members are now releasing solo albums. Two members are already serving, soon the rest will begin military service. In 2025 they will have to return from the army.

Please delve deeper, they are incredibly talented people who can dance, sing, write, produce, play instruments..... Eventhough I havent been a dedicated fan since like 2019 I still love these first reaction because kpop groups are such respectable artists even if they arent your taste of music. They put their entire heart, sould, mind and body into that job and it SHOWS.

In the Boy with Luv video, they it's a collaboration with Halsey (an American singer). BTS has done various collaborations with other artists. BTS is a group who consists of 3 rappers and 4 vocalists and have a discography going back to 2013. Their music goes into various genres. They are currently on Hiatus to complete their mandatory military service and some are releasing individual albums. Hopefully by 2025, they are expected to resume group activities. I'm glad you enjoyed their music.

They are amazing live. Best concerts I have ever been to and I’m a rocker/metal head chick. Their voices live are better than the recording and they put out so much energy and charisma. They don’t hold concerts they hold life changing experiences.

As of June 2023, while they're on a "break," BTS individual members and the whole group have released 56 songs in the past year. 😄😄 Some songs with multiple versions. They really don't know how to slow down. Love them so much!

Dynamite was released in 2020 to cheer people up during Covid , their first all English song.
Yes they still exist as a group they debuted in 2013 This is their 10th year anniversary. The one you thought was not BTS released a couple of months ago is in fact one of the BTS members, Jimin. Military services mandatory in South Korea and two of them have already left for that so they are technically on a break as a group and tell all their military services are done but they are all releasing solo work and solo albums in the meantime.

There's nothing wrong with auto tune but i can hear auto tune in Dynamite that's how it sounds so crisp. However naturally BTS are AMAZING singers.
For live performances, in 2019 BTS sold out 2 nights at Wembley Stadium. BTS has sold out multiple days at many Stadiums around the world.
Some up-tempo songs you might like include "Mic Drop", "Idol", "ON Kinetic Manifesto Film: Come Prima", and of course "Fire" which really is fire.
I find a lot of female kpop songs too 'cutesy', with BTS they have so much variety and depth of lyrics that there is more than enough to keep you engaged for a long time.
By the way, your reaction video was quite short. BTS ARMY (fans) will happily watch reactions that are over an hour.
finding BTS is just like find gems ngl their quality of music far ahead western music industry. just look up their songs, lyric, mvs, concept, etc are beyond any western artists i know
