# 14 Brake Bleeding and V-Belt replacement on a Hyundai Ioniq HEV+

In this video, we demonstrate the necessary steps taken to conduct the brake bleeding and V-Belt replacement on a Hyundai Ioniq HEV+. Brake bleeding as defined by [1] is the process of removing air from the hydraulic brake system. The V-Belt replacement was carried out by the service center as it can’t be replaced without a special tool. The special tool serves a purpose to compress the belt damper tensioner in order to remove the V-belt easily. Please note that this video is for education purpose only and it should be carried out by a certified person with sound knowledge on the vehicle.
