The circle of 5ths works for me (printed out), its more helpful for writing your own stuff, just look at a glance and experiment with what's in the triangle and pick what you like and experiment with it.. Another great video Jo
Actually this was good for me, I was taught to refer to the Circle of fifths and I never really got on with it - for some reason my brain didn’t compute 😂; the major, minor and diminished route is just so easy now - strange I know but if it clicks it clicks! Fortunately I have a reasonably good ear so I usually end up with something ok. Looking forward to seeing more, it’s strange - I was useless at maths at school because I just couldn’t understand the teacher’s methods; when I went to college we had a tutor who was really good, he didn’t go on until everyone understood what he told them, I clicked with him more or less right away and ended up with a distinction in my maths exam!
@@jobywaterguitartuition I’ve always had a decent ear as I learned to play by ear in the first place (before we had internet); I put a few things together for TH-cam occasionally, as I don’t sing I dabble a bit with AI so I can extend my ideas past Instrumentals. @DarrellW_UK nice. Sounds great. Good fun putting tracks together. A great way to experiment too!
I learnt from a circle of fifth's app and to remember 1,4,5 and 2,3,6
Perfect 👌
