Kari, finish the collar before you try on the sweater and determine the length. Also, go with PUB (Peacock, Unicorn, Badger) Crawl as your fabric for the pattern. I love your channel and am so envious of your talents!
River Willow gets my vote…easier to see/stitch and you don’t have to wait!
PUB crawl got its name from Peacock, Unicorn, and Badger! I think both linens are gorgeous, one darker and more dramatic, the other lighter and more nature like. So depends on which look you’re going for. Don’t think you can go wrong. Can’t wait to see which you pick😊
I think that the current fabric is fine as long as all of the floss looks good on it. But, I am betting that you are going to order the one from Evertotes. I am so glad that you were with Lily during that storm. You would have been worried sick about both of your kids if you had been at home rather than in Clemson. Thankful that y’all were spared for the most part. I live in Louisiana, so I know how bad hurricane weather can be. Stay safe my friend. ❤
I think the fabric you got is great! It is a tad lighter than the chart and I think the motifs will stand out more which I think will be really lovely!

I like the linen you showed for the peacorn project. Having seen the darker linen from evertote I like what you have better….best is filling in the background but that is not for everyone. Love your cheerful personality !!!!
I like pub crawl. It’s much darker I think and your floss will show up better. I do like the river willow and it would work but I think the other would be best. I love that chart!!

Kari. You can always put your sweater on try it on tubing and block what you have and see how much it grows and then decide if you want more length hope that helps. By the way, it’s gorgeous.

I say “Go for it” with you Peacorn fabric
If the fabric from Evertote is closer to the floss color, then my vote is to order the fabric from Evertote because, personally, I like the look of the darker background.
River willow is super close for your peacock project. I would love to see 1 strand of floss on the fabric to be sure. I will cross my fingers you find your fabric if river willow turns out not to be a match. 😊
I think Pub Crawl would be better BUT Cedar River Linens also has a green linen that a lot of people are also using for Peacorn.
So bummed to miss out on your live without being able to get your kit. 😢😢😢

I think that linen is a great choice --- but would want to see the rest of the colours on it, given it is lighter than Pub Crawl.

I like the Lakeside green but check out Red Cedar Linen’s green she made especially for that chart.
Ok, so of these two choices, I'd choose Pub Crawl. But...123Stitch has suggestions of Newcastle linen or White Grey. But if you want a dark background, then Pub Crawl. ❤
River willow is beautiful, but I think I would go with order Evertote. ❤️
Pub Crawl would make it look more William Morris-like.
