Hello Wendy! I happy danced my babies in that room ❤️ Yes, a very long journey & yes! God is good! I have prayed many prayers but did not ask why. Things happen for a reason, sometimes it is very painful but there is always light. I feel that god has some kind of plan for me...I always wondered in my young life, What is my purpose? but now I have found it in my later life. It's not easy but we just keep going. I am grateful for what I have and that I can share it ❤️ along with the knowledge that I have learned.

I got some pictures made of my two schnauzers that passed last year, Quincy & Derby & another of Tinker, Millie & Spartan. They are done in water color backgrounds & just beautiful. I cried.... Need to get them framed & on the wall as they were all always in my sewing room with me ❤️ I will keep ya updated 😊

Hi Marnae! When you first showed the pattern I wasn’t sure what the star blocks were going to look like. My screen is small so it’s hard to tell what things are going to look like. Then you sewed them up and WOW! Love the look of these blocks!!

Thank you! 🤗 There is much room for friends, teaching classes and just having fun! It is great for friends & clients to walk in with no stairs to climb. I had stairs in my original farmhouse that many of my older folk could not get up. This new space is a blessing for all ❤️

Marnae it is just stunning. A room to behold. May I ask if you will have a large cutting table in the center of the room to be able lay the fabric on to walk around it and cut? Just think of the quilts you will,produce for others and yourself. You make the most glorious beautiful and many times just plain sweet quilts. I adore your work.

We bought 2 long dressers from Marketplace that we will use for the base on either side and then he is gonna get a butcher block counter to put on the top that will have a cutting mat fit to size. The drawers on the dressers will serve as extra storage too. For now I have the flimsy table to use until jim can get them built. I appreciate you taking notice 😊

Its gentle on my hair & keeps the twinkles (grey) away...LOL! Yes, the new puppy is Dozer. He is Jim's dog but Tilly & I love him ❤️ We adopted him just a couple of weeks ago not far from our home. He is part pitty & mutt with lots of character! his tail looks like a magic wand...ha ha. We will introduce him 😊

I'm looking at you when you cut your fabric and I was woundering if you knew about the Stripology Ruler. I'm certain you would love it. By the way I love your new studio!
Hello, yes, I have the stripology ruler in a newly built cutting board that a friend had put together for me. Although....it does need some tweaking on the lid part to line up with the mat and also the lid needs a stopper on the back to keep it from falling all the way back. I had a cutting table that was perfectly designed for me that was lost in the fire. The new one is similar but made by a different person than the last one. I do love those stripology rulers! ❤️ Thank you for bringing that up 😊 and yes, Love my new studio! I'm starting to feel like myself again & getting back to what I love to do do!! 😍
