- How to Fix Windows 10 PC Randomly Shuts Down Issue (Solution).
Commands Used:
sfc /scannow
chkdsk /f /r
Either way, it’s an isolated event. However, what happens your computer keeps shutting down? On a daily or even hourly basis?
That is just the case with the problem we are addressing today. Namely, the IT forums are full of people asking for the solution.
You’ll hear a lot of generic solutions from Windows 10 technicians, but that is, with all due respect, a lot of apologetic nonsense.
So we prepared our list of workarounds for both tower and laptop computers.
We won’t tell you this troubleshoots will repair your computer definitely, but it may help you eliminate usual suspects.

I initiated the Method 2, typed in the command prompt and restarted my PC only for me to see a note that windows is working blah blah don't off your pc then boom my light went off.

I play and watch movies, TH-cam on chrome for hours, pc works fine. Whenever i turn on any software or even downloaded video or songs, the pc sleeps and shuts within 3 to 4 minutes. I am too much confused and stressed due to this issue. changed the power settings etc. still error occurs.

@@MDTechVideos The Solid State Drive froze the entire computer and will not boot now every time I add the drive to the sata hard drive line on the motherboard it freezes the entire computer. Had to install Linux Mint on the secondary drive and keep the SSD disconnected

when you type cmd into the windows area right click "command prompt" and run as admin
i might still want to ask if it wasn't so late to confess this issue but my pc turns off automatically after 2 hours exactly 2 min delay when its opened its windows 10 60hz an hp model and i tried every thing a could in the sittings and every command and all the tutorials you can see on yt but nothing fixed the problem its been 3 years since i have this problem and i don't know how to fix it

I tried both steps separately, and I was never able to verify that this method works because my laptop shutdown exactly at 30 minutes, and both methods take more than 30 minutes. I took my laptop to a repair shop. I hope the technician can find a solution 🤞

scan showed corupted files and it fixed them, il try to run my pc for some time and il chack back if problem is saved

@@gafyldff2211 Finally fixed it yesterday and my problem was the pump on my AIO cooler died so I replaced it with a Noctua fan and everything is good!
