If someone put fresh figs on my pancakes I'd kick the crap out of them

Did you ever consider doing the griddle demonstration again these days with the new systems like the new Duel fuel range ovens

The griddle is the same on Wolf rangetops, Gas Ranges, and DF Ranges (previous gen and new gen). The only difference with the griddle on the latest DF range is the back exhaust grate has been removed so there is a little bit more cooking space (about an inch) and is a little easier to clean (don't need to clean the grate since it is no longer there).

How long does it take to heat the griddle to 400?

Just tested it and the griddle that you see in this video preheated to 400 degrees under 13 minutes (from a cold, open room in mid-January). Remember, the Wolf griddle is composed of thick cold rolled steel for superior heat transfer and it takes a little time to heat such a dense, durable metal. Thanks for watching.

@@ZackGaz Thank you!! My sales guy here in Colorado said it was 25-30 minutes, and it was really dissuading me from getting the double griddle. Oh, and he doesn't cook...I'm like, "How can you sell appliances and not cook???"

@@jessicataylorvo Oh, he might be getting the double griddle confused with the Frenchtop option (the Frenchtop, found in select Wolf ranges, has a little longer preheat time from how the ring system works). There is an official Sub-Zero/Wolf Showroom in Denver. I recommend scheduling an appt there if you wanted to see it for yourself. Also, high alt places like CO might slightly affect heat times when compared to other parts of the country.

That wasn't cleaned up properly. So per your recommendation: let the grime build up overtime and then re-season? I'd rather not invite critters.

Agreed. The video I watched that was produced by wolf showed cleaning it with water and griddle cleaner (whatever that is) each time.

If you want a griddle just get one for the outside grill. This is such a mess to cleanup.
