These motivational vieos over the past 2 decades have been amazing! I recall being 7 years old, 13 years old, ect watching these late at night on Toonami just feeling so inspired. Late 90s and 2000s is just pefect!
I frequently find myself coming back to these to remind myself of what's important in life. Toonami always knew how to capture the greatest lessons in life and serve them to you so delicately.. all to remind you to keep moving forward. Always a pleasure to just simply.. reflect.. slow down time a little and remember who you are and what's important to you; because whoever was behind these works of art understood thoroughly that it's easy to get lost along way.
I honestly wish there was a Toonami sub that was just like the show episodic anime. New episodes daily on a rotation. Even newly released ones I'd have that on all day long. Just make sure to have the motivational AMVs and all that and keep that OG feel. When my brother and I got home from school we'd race to get in the house to watch next episode of DBZ and even stay up late for other shows. Can't tell how many times I'd fall asleep with Inyuyasha playing till my TV turned off.
I really admire the Work Toonami does, and its really awesome how they collab to do speeches with Tom (Steve Blum). They have left and come back even stronger. Thanks Toonami

I grew up watching Toonami when it was Moltar. I never saw this promo. Don't know how it was recommended to me but damn its making my heart ache.
This is one of the more recent promos they did. It's good to know that after all these years and a years-long hiatus, Toonami is still going strong.
