If you are interested in preventing and curing physical dysfunctions in patients, then career in physiotherapy is the right choice for you. Physiotherapy candidate have a good career option in India or even abroad. Healthcare and its technology upgrade often. They need specialized profession in most of the health category and Physio is one of them. Physiotherapists work in many settings in both the public and private sectors. These vary widely depending on the institution (hospital, rehab clinic, practice, etc.) and the region.

Why don't you use Dr. Before ur name ?
That’s a really nice question. It’s because Dr. is a title that’s protected by law for PhD holders and medical graduates in most of the first world countries including Germany. Physiotherapy and dental graduates can use the titles ‘Physiotherapist’ and ‘Dentist’ as that’s their speciality.

You can directly join CRPF and ITBP by taking the interview whenever there is a vacancy.

I would suggest to opt for Germany. But also depends which university are you planning to choose?
Sir after completing BPT can we write Dr. As prefix or after MPT. Because some of BPT completed students use Dr. As prefix? Waiting for your response sir
Hi dear. If you are in India, you can use Dr. title with the suffix PT after completing your BPT.
If you are abroad and working in a country where the doctor title is protected by law only for PhD holders or medical doctors (like in Germany, US, Canada, UK, and Australia) then you can’t use this title until you finish your PhD program.
Sir, I am a 1st year physiotherapy student just joined the college.. I have decided that after completing BPT, I will try to work in 2 or 3 nursing homes at the same time I will be preapring for MPT...

Well, that’s true but not the best approach. Depends on what your future aims are. If you wish to move to academics then go for masters degree straight away. If you wish to work, better opt for one good organization for full time work. Because the patient based wok is temporary.

I would recommend going for a masters degree rather than a diploma. However, if you wish to, you can opt for Diploma in Sports Medicine.

After completing that a physiotherapist can prescribe medicine.
@user-mx4eb3sd8j we are not aware of any diplomas that allow a physiotherapist to prescribe medication. Because from the nature of the occupation, medication is not a part of physiotherapy prescription.

Get your masters, score well, find an active space project and join the Space centre. Also, you can become an astronaut if you have a PhD and also other pre-requisites.

If you want to pursue your career in US as a PT then you can clear the NPTE exam. For being a cardio PT, you can study in Jamia Millia Islamia, ISIC, Manipal academy of higher education, etc.

You can go for MSc Anatomy, MBA in hospital administration, MSc Physiology, Masters in Sports Science, Masters in performance analysis, Masters in Osteopathy/chiropractic sciences, etc can be opted.

Considering the population of India and the prevalence of musculoskeletal problems (neck pain, back pain, knee pain, etc.), physiotherapy is going to be one of the most sought fields. Regarding jobs and salaries, in every field you can find people earning a very high salary and vice versa. It totally depends on how nicely you learn the stuff and execute it. So, in short, I can highly recommend this course if you are looking for a lucrative and respectful future while helping the society.

You can pursue MBA in hospital management, masters in public health, masters in global health, masters in international health. These also provide you with amazing administrative and organizational job opportunities.

Hi Ruhit. Yes, most of the students work here in Germany and thus earn as well. The hourly rate for non-academic jobs range from 10-13 Euros and students are only allowed to do a part-time job (i.e., 80 hours a month).

Sir i am in first year in bpt from magadh University bodhgaya and i want to practice in hospital .it is iseful for me or not for practice.
I would recommend starting your practice Atleast after completing your second year.
This will provide you ample amount of time to actually learn stuff before applying it.
What is the pay in govt jobs for physiotherapists
It varies from position to position but can be in the range of 55000 to 1 lacs.

Dear Aditya, har field m salary low and high dono range m hoti h. Yhi p Dr. Nitin Patel (PT) ko more than 1.17 crores ka package bhi miltaa h. Yhi p log ek session ka 3000-5000 charge krte hain (bina electro therapy, needling, or IASTM lgaaae). As I said in the video, if we focus on learning, earning automatically follows. And if we become better in what we are doing, people are ready to pay for what we expect/deserve. Hope that helps.

Thanks for the query. You need to keep an eye on open recruitment Calls, apply for it, take entrance exam or interview (whichever is relevant) and then take the job.
There are separate exams for each institution AIIMS, PGIMER, RRB, SGPGI, CRPF, etc.

You only need a blocked account worth €10332 (that you use for your own expenses like food, accommodation, etc.) but you can also avoid this amount by applying for a scholarship. That depends on your interest and reason of opting for a short term course. However, I can suggest opting for Diploma in Nutrition and Health Education, Certificate course in Yoga, or a refresher course in taping. I’m not a big fan of these courses but just suggesting as these are good add-ons.
