Poor guy, it is so sad that people jump to conclusions, spread lies and don't stop even when they have passed on. To know Elvis suffered this much is eye opening and heart breaking. As he brought so much joy, even while he was suffering. Rest in Peace Elvis!

I totally agree!!! Everyone wanted a piece of that precious beautiful boy who gave so much until he could not give anymore. He was like a lamb thrown to the wolves. Even when he was so sick he was performing - it hurts my soul so much. I wish he would been taken good care of, good food and rest - but he was overworked even when he was sick. Well he is resting in the arms of Jesus and no one can hurt him now. I feel that the Memphis Mafia also were like wolves around him.
Diet makes NO difference, I have exact same! Sometimes, fruit, veg, hurt my intestines, so learn facts, people!

Living like that would be a nightmare..he took powerful drugs usually reserved for cancer patients to ease the pain that often leaves him in a zombie state. Very sad.

Elvis was in severe pain at the last. It was hard for him to accept his appearance, but he didn't realize that didn't affect his ability to connect with his audiences. I read "Elvis Destined To Die Young" and I couldn't imagine going for months without a bowel movement. The Lord must have given him the strength to endure. I'm glad this is coming out because of some of the articles and drug use. R.I.P.

For sure. He wasn’t a hard core addict or wanted a highs, well maybe a bit with energy on stage. That’s why he looked so bulging! All these years portrayed in that light when many others died that way too. Of extreme drug overdose s. Those pills, 1O thousand pills it was said . We’re not all for him.,He told staff to put medication under his name for income tax purposes. Not one of his crew ever came out to defend Elvis that way. Charlie Hod was closest. But I think he made a promise to Elvis not to say anything after he died. Maybe not Charlie but others could have spoken out. Yes Elvis had an addiction to prescription drugs and other health issues. Instead all these years some members talk about just negative. But they didn’t defend Elvis. Nobody did really. Elvis was boss, he was responsible for Elvis. You can’t force a man to help himse. But all those years, you’d think someone would have mentioned. Charlie Hodge finally did, after Dr. Nick. Passed because of confidentiality. He was at a lecture and explained about those pills. Yes Elvis did sneak off behind Dr. Nicks back to get drugs that Nick refused. But if he had taken 10,OOO pills he would have died years earlier. But I think those pills caused all his health problems too. They say we don’t kn long term affects of long term prescription pill intake. His body just wore out, he was exhausted and probably depressed. But I don’t think he acted depressed in front of staff and friends. He must have felt his career was at an end. Probably why he did tv special. Or he was going to take a few years off. Or maybe he knew himself his time was short. But Elvis in the end won. Had last laugh on all the jealous naysayers and critics. Because he is etched in music history. Maybe at level of Beethoven, just different area, his vocal entertainment. Beethoven, there was Bach, Mozart, Wagner, etc. But Beethoven probably most famous music legend of history. The others were all great. But that name was unique. Like Elvis Presley. And it’s 46 yea since his death. Almost half a century and no new artist has even come close to what Elvis has. Even more talented singer songwriter s, all legends in their own right. But Elvis stood in a different sphere for some real. He always said he was just an entertainer. No better or worse than anybody else.

apparently Lisa had the same condition and apparently for several days before her death, she was in severe abdominal pain, and if she had it attended to, she wouldn't have died
Now I understand why he relied to and became addicted to prescribed drugs to kill the pain.It's genetics and hereditary..he should have lots of vegies and fruits in his diet.

There are some excellent doctors who would say to not eat any vegetables or fruits and become a strict carnivore. Unfortunately, too many have been gaslit into thinking that meat is bad.
@@kennixox262 Meat in moderation is fine. Eating only meat is foolish. There are plenty of quacks out there with moronic diets like keto. Look up what happens when you eat too much protein. Americans already eat an insane amount of protein, more than twice the amount they are supposed to have. That's WITHOUT the paleo, keto, or whatever crazy diet fad. Add one of those diets and the protein is now quadruple or worse. Terrible idea and gateway to short life, heart issues, and cancer. Limit your protein!

Tests like we have today were not even thought of in the 60/70s..Kurt Cobain had stomach issues in the 90s and they had probs figuring out then what was wrong with him..Elvis wasn’t ever supposed to live a long life is what I think, he wasn’t here for a long time but here for good time..Rip Elvis!
He was working so hard in spite of how he was feeling and my heart breaks just reading about all this. I love him so much and think he’s wonderful and I’m so sorry to know that he had had all of these physical problems. It’s heartbreaking.

I was in pain everyday and doc kept givjng pain pill so i realize that was going to be my life made changes and my stomach got better he had doctors why didnt they run test on him so sad

I had to take steroids that made me gain weight quickly and not based on what I ate. I❤❤I love Elvis and all of his music. My parents loved his gospel music also. Why did he not take stimulants for constipation. There are plenty of medicines to overcome constipation. I know cos I have problems and have had this problem sinceI was a child. Made worse by certain meds I take for high blood pressure.

Dear Lord.....I had polyps removed twice to rule out cancer..I am so lucky to have no problems in that department..three times a day thanks to filtered water lemon and ginger plus a decent diet...Try it anyone whos suffering even a ginger nut biscuit or two helps....love to you all

I heard they have another way where they can put a tube from the gut down to the anus to poop out of that isn't noticeable that probably would have been better.
