The Night That Shook America: How Elvis Presley's Ed Sullivan Performance Changed Everything
This is total B.S. Dick Grob wasn’t even there. Ginger found him, (maybe the cook came up next- lconflicting stories), then Al Strada who then called Joe Esposito. Then, ppl came and went as the chaos took place Dick Grob also lord about his army/metals received past. Google him… Stolen Valour for sure. Back to this, none of it is true. He was Head of Security nothing to do with finances, etc. and again,.. he did not find Elvis.. not even close. I won’t listen to the rest of this after only 2:59 of misinformation.
Great work... please more vids like this
His head was buried in thick shag carpet,
What a liar!!!!!!!!!!! Elvis bathroom was thick shag carpet, you just assumed it was tile? What else are i you lying about?
Great work love to learn about the mysteries of Elvis later years.
Elvis had plush red carpet on the floor in the bathroom! He had red fibers found in his mouth! Ginger did her makeup while talking to her Mom before she checked on Elvis!
Stupid video! Didn’t even play the song. What a load of rubbish.
Ginger found Elvis first
That not cool that we don't even get to hear the song......
Yea, No Elvis Presley didn’t take the performing for the troops option. He didn’t perform whole military service. Idk where u guys get your ideas from
Ok, this is ridiculous, now at 16:26 his mother’s name is Azalea. 🙄 Are they doing this on purpose? I’ll watch zero videos from unreal documentary again ever, no matter how clicky the bait is. The channel should change its name to Untrue Documentary
The guitar at 10:17 is a fake. Look at the lower neck. It’s goes right into the body. Where is a bridge for the strings to stretch to? How would that even work when the neck sits an inch or more below the surface of the body. Now, look at the actual strings on the upper neck. Observe how they just stop at the hole and pick up out of line again, lol, the cheesiest cut and paste error. This guitar isn’t even a low end fake. It’s a half ass poorly done fake, not even attempting to look ok. Like, it’s dropped in a video, no one will notice. Yeah, we notice! With bad content like this and inaccuracies like his mother’s name, no one should trust anything from this video, nor from any other content this channel puts out.

At 4:55 you correctly name Gladys as Elvis’ mother. Then immediately after at 5:15 you say his mother was named Annie. Why do you say this? It’s confusing
On 14 August 1987, Marty Lederhandler took a picture of Charles Hamilton showing a poem supposed to have been written by Elvis. Is there any video explaining how such an expert could have seen Elvis handwritting in a document so far from the handwriting of Elvis on the letter he wrote to President Nixon ? Thank you !
His great grandfather was Wallace not a presley his great grandmother gave him her maiden name
Gladys,Elvis ,his grandchild and than lisa marie all passed so young
The information in this video is incorrect. Take it with a grain of salt. For starters, Elvis had blue eyes. He had to wear brown contact lenses for a movie once. Lie to us once, can't trust anything you say.
I don't believe such stories that are told behind Elvis' back, he can't give his answer.
Worst rubbish ive ever heard Elvis was not allowed to perform in the army days
Elvis would never say something like this.
I also have a couple of his movies
Elvis was a great singer i went to of his concerts
how do you know. were you friends with elvis?
All.total. Rubbish. Don't make up.things.
What’s with the background? Absolutely nothing to do with Elvis…doesn’t fit at all.
❤ Everybody took quay loads during this time
❤ Is rock. And roll
Absolute tosh
They made it sound like Elvis just finished a concert tour. His last concert was June 26 1977. He died on August 16,1977. Almost 2 months.
He was supposed to have a concert/start another tour that day or a few days later. Instead he passed away. 😢
@@barbrolindkvist246 yeah the day he died he was supposed to go to Portland Maine for a concert.
Vernon, Elvis's Father, was at home, not at the hospital!
The best singer all time💜🎸🎶🎵
For example, midrash could be influenced by the Greek world to explain Jewish ideas (Hellenism.) The virgin birth narrative. The virgin (virgin Israel of Jeremiah) becomes pregnant by God. She is betrothed to Joseph, and together virgin Israel and Joseph raise Moshiach Ben Yosef, who we find in Jewish midrash, the dying and resurrected messiah.
Wrong about too many things here. Her parents knew she lived at Graceland and were paid for it. She was the third girl Elvis wanted to raise to be like his mother was to him. She had the MM wives as friends and a credit card to shop for herself. She cheated first because Elvis did not want to marry her in the first place and she was cold & controlling him. Even Lisa talked about her distant cold greedy mother. Elvis needed the MM around to protect him from all the gays & satanists in Hollywood. Parker, I could go on forever about who he really was working for. Cant chat too much on YT or get banned. Priscilla was/is a Scientologist for over forty years. Look who L Ron Hubbard was and who his friends were. Priss was a well trained honeypot trap. Read Child Bride. She failed a lie detector test & Curry passed with flying colors. Well documented book. Elvis put off that marriage three times. When Ann Margret & Elvis were having an affair, she called her daddy who called Parker. Priss was almost 22 when married in a cheap 7 minute ceremony in a tent dress. Red & Sonny were cut out at the last minute but Red Foxx was at the table.
Priscilla was a set up honey-trap for Elvis. Elvis sometimes called her because Germany time is after school hours & late night in Memphis. She wrote Elvis for 2.5 years after he left Germany. Pink letters that Joe gave to Elvis from Priss. See Joe & Curry Grant were friends & got Priscilla in. Parker let Elvis get drafted because he was friends with Johnson who was a senator at that time and the military wanted more recruits. Priscilla's father was a Captain in the military & asked for a transfer to Germany. For what reason? She was also pulled out of HS in Germany at almost 18 and only six weeks to graduation. Maybe it was six months? I cant remember. Why the bum rush after 2,5 years later? Then Elvis was forced to marry her and then refused to touch her within one year of marriage. Priss admitted she cheated first because of being rejected. Elvis told Linda she was not an affectionate person and controlling & critical. Poor Elvis. She once accused Elvis of rape until she got educated that rape is a hate crime.
Song about Buddy Holly
This is totally made up. Elvis got leave from the army and just made it to the hospital as she died. He lived in Graceland at the time and was in the army as well. He was devastated
She was dead he never made it before she died
Actually you are correct, thanks @@James.G.Ireland
Elvis had diarrhea not constipation
why all of the skulls? Elvis has 3 arms in one of these scenes.
He never faded. He went into the. Army. We never forgot him we're waiting for him to return and when he did wow ! He blew others away. Except for a few other greats but. Elvis became .the greatest still is. Today as back then.
Elvis didn't write the bloody song
Putting different colored rings around the necks of slaves shows how much they would cost to buy... That is the harm... Of course everyone who actually paid a little bit of attention in school knew that...
Just a bunch of people looking for things to be offended by. They are still here today and going strong. The song Baby it’s Cold Outside , the nuts say it’s pressuring girls, others say it promotes rape. This world has gone crazy.
Elvis was The King Of Rock and Roll.. No doubt about it!!! God given talent!!!
Great video! Congralations! Our irreplaceable Elvis. Many thanks.
I see nothing improper in the lyrics of the song at all, and I’m a Christian with strict moral guidelines. But, Christendom (and, laughably, Hollywood) has been hypocritically “moral” for eons, pretending shock at what they do behind closed doors without conscience regularly. Now, most ppl feel immorality as the Bible defines it is silly, outdated, and of no use. I disagree. While I enjoy many of Elvis’ songs, I think a brief review of his life and career show that he was anything but moral or faithful sexually. I also don’t believe in a double standard for men and women, nor do the Scriptures. But, I don’t impose my view of mores on others politically. It is sad to me that ppl defend Elvis more vehemently than Jesus - and to a great degree religion itself is to blame! He was and still is an Idol for many.
This is not the version of the story a member of the Jordanaires has told. Elvis didn’t want to record the song, this is true but the reason according to Gordon Stoker is a bit different. See Earnest Tubb had a hit with the song a couple years before and Elvis didn’t think he could do it better. After about an hour of colonel Parker pretty much strong arming Elvis into doing it he agreed. Right before the tape rolled he told the jordanaires and Millie Kirkham to quickly come up with the most ridiculous back up vocals they could. This is the high pitched undulating vocals you hear throughout the song. Elvis told them he would do his part also to attempt to make the song unmarketable. The first 30 minutes of the session was Elvis’s deliberate attempt to ruin any chance that the song would be released. The producers told him they were going to do as many takes as possible to get it right. So the final master is nothing more than a group of singers attempting to sabotage a recording session only to be released and become one of Elvis’s biggest hits.
Best singer forever ever.....
That is a fact. ❤
Good video... I like knowing all the little known facts
But not all accurate!
When you make a horrible error within the first 15 seconds I stop watching because I just have to assume you don't know what you're talking about. Linda Thompson was not Elvis' wife.
