Thanks! I'm gonna do a micro-survey with you then, and ask why you don't subscribe to my channel? 🤗 I struggle to understand why everyone loves my videos, but so few subscribe 😁
Fantastic episode Rued. Your videos are engaging, clear and very informative. Thank you for all your efforts. I will definitely be purchasing your courses as I am learning a lot in and thanks to you also enjoying the process.
Thanks for the positive feedback. And yes, manual focus is not the preferred way to go, however it is a little fun to insist on using such an old camera for this channel 😅 Is there a specific point in the video where you noticed an unfocused image? I really try to sit still and make it as crystal as possible.
Simpler is better! Focus on the core message! Thank you so much for this reminder :) I'm here as another fellow TH-camr trying to "Master" the channel :D
I agree about not storyboarding. I have to do it for work because I'm an instructional designer who hands off learning content to a developer, but when I am the developer myself (my own video production in Final Cut Pro, Canva, Vyond), I just write a script and come up with effects/presentation dynamism while I'm developing.
I have found that it helps when I am scripting to be aware of the templates that Vyond already has available so I'm pulling from pre-created stock and not having to create everything from scratch.
That also makes sense; to let a tool point you in a direction and script around that. One would maybe consider that a limitation, but I also find it to be a creative enabler.

Thank you. Nice video. I wanna ask you sth. I see you use Vyond. Are there sound effects in Vyond? I'm thinking of getting Vyond but not sure about it. I use Toonly but it is limited.
Yes, loads of them - and I also add my own using the Import function. Remember to use this link in combination with RUED15 to get 15% off the yearly plans. No need to pay full price when you can avoid it :) bit.ly/vyondsoftware

@@RuedRiisCom Thanks a lot for your answer. I'm a teacher and Vyond offered me 20% off for the yearly plan. As I live in Turkey, Vyond is too expensive for me because of currency. May I use both of the offers together? Is it possible?
Hi, I am a writer and would like to animate my short stories. (my stories are 500 to 1500 words with may be 2 to 4 scenes) Will Doodly do the job? I ask this question because I am new to animation and cannot draw for the life of me. Thanks.
I'm in a fiction writing workshop and just wrote a story (not flash, 7 pages single-spaced...); it would be cool to animate it. Would take a while, but it'd be fun.
