If this is in reference to the "Orient Express" truck it was made in Japan. Its body style was discontinued in 1988. The first US-made Toyotas were Corollas, beginning in 1986, but trucks weren't built here till much later. The San Antonio, Texas plant you're referring to opened in 2006.
I've seen yes a Volkswagen style an PT Cruiser Chrysler but it's all that sticks to the track that measures in the end 👊 I pulled a K73 series with 454 blown alcohol aluminium aircraft frame ( burnt ALOT of drill bits 😁) military trans til a fierce sled crash blew 3 discs in lower back L3L4L5 SIDELIDE ME FOR LIFE 👊
Nowadays, if the builder can get it to specs, they'll allow it. A team outta Ohio brought in an all electric pulling truck (4x4) and it tore the place up. I wasn't a fan, but I had to give that truck credit. It's benefit over fuel powered was that it dumped full power to the track as soon as the flag dropped. It sounded like a huge power drill, so it wasn't too bad, but I prefer the fire, smoke, and roar. Back in 2003 they brought in a hydrogen powered truck, with big dollar sponsors, same deal. It tore the place up, but it came with million-dollar sponsors that designed the truck for perfect pulling. Kind of cheating in a way, when a computer designs the weight, traction, torque, etc... Maybe they are on youtube somewhere, I'll do some looking.
These and 2wd are the only tricks I watch, the louder the better for me. I’m mainly a tractor guy, but I make exceptions for these
Cant get enough of the great stuff guys thanks again
Back to the great stuff you guys do for us
First time I've seen a Toyota truck in these pulls. Great showing of power by and truck from Texas. That is where it is made.

That orient express is has always been way louder and revs way higher than the competition. It’s even got shorter pipes now tho and they blow flames
Cody Mallett it sounded good at idle but didn’t run nearly as good as it sounded like it would, at least on this video.
