Agreed. For all she knew, her stunt could've resulted in her husband being thrown in jail until she was "released". The little kids, though. At that age mom is everything. They understand mom is gone but not why. It's cruel. The daughter may have been young enough to not remember this, but that sweet little boy could be at risk for all kinds of mental health and emotional problems as he grows up. Both from the effects trauma has on the developing brain AND from having 50% of his DNA supplied by a sociopath. I feel like Keith has the awareness and dedication required to keep an eye on the boy as he grows up. He could be perfectly fine. Hopefully he is. But man, he's got some serious risk factors. Poor little man. 😢
*It's implied, but I need to say this directly: Sherri is an absolute monster for putting 2 small children through this. It's a deliberate infliction of trauma on them. Tons of people have kids when they weren't planning on having, but most of them don't fake a kidnapping and leave their kids and husband to fend for themselves. Tbh I think she wanted to have kids for the attention, then when she realized it's a lot harder than she thought and she wouldn't be able to do what she wants (a la Casey Anthony) she came up with some ruse to get out of responsibility.

I of course still enjoy people in general, and I do not believe everyone is fit for evil, but as a man who was falsely accused of abusing my former partner (had to spent $12k, aka my LIFE savings, defending myself in court), it’s so hard to trust people. I of course won my case, crazily got an apology from her own sister (who actually supported me) and her family had to award me 8 months of back pay for disparaging me to my former employer. People don’t understand that those alleged charges RUIN your everyday life, it’s not just a nuisance, you have to fight tooth & nail as whenever abuse is alleged, it’s guilty until proven innocent.

I know that you probably use a software to generate subtitles, but having someone validate them would be nice. "Increasing your poultry" at 19:06 is pretty bad.

Remember, the polygraph is just one part of the polygraph examination. Everything before hand is not only for clarity and calibration, it goes hand in hand with an interview/interrogation. All these explanations are also good to try and disarm a tester, make them more nervous if they’re guilty, gauge their response times and body language during questions, etc.
Because they can’t be used in court police and polygraph examiners want to obtain as much data as they can. It’s also a great tool to backup an alibi or disprove it since the testee has to give very simple yes or no questions, instead of being allowed to weave their story into a tangled mess.
Some find them useless but they’re actually valuable for investigators for all the above listed reasons.

Keith Papini I'm sure has had to deal with Sherri's lies in the past. It was just never this big. I feel bad for him an the kids. I also feel bad for James Reyes, falling for her lies about Keith abusing her and wanting to get away. I can't imagine what he was thinking when she wanted to abuse herself and then hearing on the news that she said she was kidnapped by two hispanic women, He could have gone to prison.

U can live with somone 30 years and have no clue who you are living with. You only see what they want you to see. And when you do have some questions you are gaslighted to think it's all in your head or that your too sensitive.
