    The king chillies which we get in these markets are not very spicy. Many vendors bring them from the state of Assam where it is commercially grown. The Naga king chillies which are grown in the paddy fields ( in the wild) are extremely spicy. And it is not easy to find them in the market as their produce is limited.

      When you use too much fertilizer in chillis then they grow in numbers but minus the heat. It's not about state. Even in Assam where you can find homegrown ghost chillies that can have very much more heat than those you can find in the markets for obvious reasons.

    Big big ups to you for showing the North Eastern region of India to the entire world. I'm from Dibrugarh, Assam. Most mainland Indians don't even know about our part of the country. Since you're in the NE, I suggest you visit Kohima in Nagaland, Upper Assam if you're interested in a more authentic Assamese culture, Shillong and Cherrapunjee in Meghalaya, Aizawl in Mizoram, Tawang in Arunachal Pradesh. Although it can be dangerous for you to travel in remote areas in the rainy season due to landslides. We NorthEast Indians are a humble bunch, we love to show our culture to anyone who shows interest in visiting our part of the world. We look, eat and have vastly different cultures compared to the mainland. Have a good trip brother!

Most of the king chillies in Dimapur market are from Assam, so those won't be as spicy as the ones grown in Nagaland. That I can assure you. No cap.

    While Carolina reaper is the hottest pepper in the world, it is a hybrid created by Ed Currie a combination of two peppers, one being the Naga King Chilly. The Naga King Chilly (aka Bhoot Jholokia which means Ghost Pepper) is naturally cultivated/grown generations in the State of Nagaland, Manipur and Assam.

    • @nyxassassin7664
      @nyxassassin7664 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @athsoleolson2143 both bhut jolokia and naga king chilli are different.. Bhut jolokia is from assam where they commercially grow and sell whereas naga king chilli is grown in the back of the kitchen or brought from villages which are grown withhout any chemicals and are even more hotter than the bhut jolokia

    • @9yanguitar

    Bro. One advise from local, Pure local Naga local chilli is more spicy than from those market, moreover it's rainy season so it's very juicy and not that spicy. During winter the heat of the chilli intensified and it's more spicy during winter season.
