After all these years, after how much both our careers went down the same path due to Dr. Dre, how BOTH of them are going around demanding racial equality, here goes Snoop trying to discredit Em's entire career DUE TO RACE?! Em is calling out Snoop not just for the disrespect, but the HYPOCRISY of dismissing Em's entire career when it stared off the EXACT SAME WAY that Snoop's own career started by getting signed by Dr. Dre.
No, Em is telling Snoop flat out that there isn't a "beef" going on, but I (Eminem) am done dealing with Snoop from here own out. We aren't "beefing", but we aren't going to work together either. And to be honest, I think that is the best way for Em to handle the situation. We aren't "fighting" about the statements Snoop made, but at the same time AFTER making those statements, I don't want to be associated with you at all. A more "wash my hands and walk away" approach instead of "fighting stance".
Because to be honest about it. Snoop demanding "racial equality" while dismissing someone's career due to race? Snoop played himself out as both a jealous fool and a hypocrite.

There are tons of people in a lot of different genres that I don't listen to on a regular basis. But not ONCE do I ignore their skills or their knowledge of the genre's history when considering how good/bad they are. And I NEVER would say someone was good/bad simply due to skin color or being signed by a specific producer or label.

The snoop line was friendly. Put the whole song into perspective he’s sending a much louder message to snoop responding to his “I can live without that” comments. Em is at the top of the game, puts that in perspective by mentioning all the names in context; tekashi, machine, rihanna, drake, chance, future, migos, homage to black thought. Then he addresses racial injustice. So here he is, GOAT status, major influence and impact to hip hop and pushing for change in the society in support of BLM. Oh, and snoop, ur nothin but a dog.

Even the haters are good, all publicity is good publicity. Plus the rock punk albums were smart too because it's more marketable. His older rap songs just wouldn't get played on a regular radio station like that. But punk rock? Ive heard so many of his newer songs come on the radio, and he opened himself up with more demographics, especially people that were/are big into bands like blink 182. That's just my take on the situation, i fuck with both heavy. It's just funny seeing people on the bandwagon looking clueless because they don't know what they're talking about. @@a42nut1inct Yeah, it is a diss, but as far Em disses go it was pretty mild. He was basically saying, "Ok, we can each do without each others music." It makes me sad, because I PERSONALLY can't do without Em or Snoop's music. I think Em is a FAR better rapper than Snoop but songs like "Nuthin' but a G thang" and "Gin and Juice" rank higher on my list of favorite songs than anything Em has ever done (and Em ranks damn high). But I am 45 so I recognize that is largely due to nostalgia. I was a grown ass man when Em came on the scene so nothing he does will ever measure up to the music I loved as a teenager. But that is how nostalgia works.
Clearly a sigh in disappointment. When Em actually disses someone, it's not this lightweight lol. That wasn't even a scratch.

The problem with Em is he has more word play than any other human could catch. I've caught stuff the Earnest missed, and its just because almost EVERYTHING Em says (when he's really going off) is a word twist.
I *think* it was Rap God where there's a part that he's like "shamalamlama" and I originally thought it was wack because he was just making noise; but Earnest pointed out it was a refence to a song back in the day (that Em had just referenced the group that did it) and in that song a woman is doing that same thing. Its like Em's brain has a dictionary, thesaurus, and the complete unabridged history of rap downloaded into it.
