The odds of selling some these brushes would’ve increased drastically had you linked them, just sayin’. I have all the Detail Factory brushes and they are hands down the best brushes I’ve ever owned!
A lug brush is amazing for working in tire dressing. Work over after with a foam applicator. That tire brush changed my life and my dad came back from getting smokes after 25 years.
Curly Wolf here. In the Rag Company FAQ series, Anthony and Levi always share great insights that only come from years of hands-on experience. This video explains the subtleties of a topic that appears simple on the surface but, like everything in life, has unseen layers of nuance. I like the way this video alternates between Anthony’s description and short video cut-aways of the actual item in use. I think my favorite tip was about how the rubber edges on several of the brush bodies cushion the inevitable impact of the brush body against the paint or wheel.
Another great use for the Tuff n shine tire brush is to use it with floor mats...esp the weathertech mats that have those corners that seem to hold on to dirt for dear life. Also I use it with really dirty leather seats that have embedded dirt, makeup, or body oils..bc even though the DF brushes are great...their not stiff enough to cut the dirt on interiors that aren't maintained...combined with a good apc ..it's the winning combo
It would, as long as the wheels are clean. We actually suggest the Ultra Wheel and Body brush, as it is designed to keep for scratching or marring gloss wheels. theragcompany.com/products/ultra-wheel-and-body-brush?_pos=2&_psq=ultra+whee&_ss=e&_v=1.0
Short handle brush MIGHT fit. If not try a long but thin handled brush or normal rectangular brush with shorter bristles. Might even get away with spraying an all purpose cleaner, leave it on for 1-2 minutes and power wash. Self car wash if you don’t have a power washer or live in a apt or condo building
If you should happen to order there is a good chance you will not get what you ordered. Example: the Rag says they sent my order of Soft grip wheel & body brushs, one short & long, and 1 ea black wheel & tire brush in a 12 inch square shipping box. Let's think about that, will a 18 to 24 inch long handled brush fit in a 12 inch square box, I think not. This is what the Rag said after contacting them about missing items. They, the Rag, "packaged all because two individuals signed off on the invoice that all items were in the 12 inch shipping box. WoW!
@michealb.5492 Sorry to hear that. Sometimes mistakes happen, but it sounds like our customer service here at The Rag Company straitened up your order and sent your missing items. Don't hesitate to reach out with any questions.
Yes, "sometimes mistakes are made," and it's how one responds and corrects that's important. Asking for the customer to send photos of all items that were in the 12" square shipping box is insulting. Geez, one brush alone exceeds the shipping boxes dementions by many, many inches. also interesting that two employees signed the packing slip verifying the order was complete. Note that photos of the undamage shipping box and employee signed packing slip were a claim submittal sent to the Rag previously. Granted, it was a simple packing oversight. So own it, putting the burden of proof on the customer, asking for additional photographic proof of items received vs. missing is an unacceptable policy.
When using the tire brush with brake buster I've noticed that it leaves visible scratches on two sets of tires that I have, is that normal or are my tires just "weaker" to the scrubbing?
I’ve noticed the same on my winter tire setup. I’m thinking of trying a light duty Drill Brush set to 1 and low torque. Maybe the 2 in with 1 in long soft bristles for low profile tires for more control and taping off the wheels with painters tape or something similar. 4 in flat brush to cover more ground quicker on my 235/65R17 winter tires together with a 2 in w/ 1.5 in bristles for more control when I get closer to the wheel. Might tape off the wheel on these as well. drillbrush.com/pages/color-charts
Am I the only one who thinks the tumbleweed at the beginning of the video needs to be much larger, especially with Anthony in the video. I've seen the one that over came the civic a couple years ago! Great video otherwise!
Y'all are missing out on opportunities to sell if you don't even provide product links! What's the point of a detailed explanation if you can't reel in the customer after the video
We can offer up links but we truly wanted to prioritize this channel as a helpful resource with answers for people already interested in this stuff. We include a link to the website in every video description and the products are referred to by name in the video, but it's our intention to *not* be too sales-y on this channel.
Why would you make a video without including the links to the actual items. The fact that I now have hunt through your site and the lack of thought out into the user experience of this video has turned me off from buying from you guys. The video was great but not including links is a fail. Please think from the customer’s perspective more.

Drill brush for the win

Check, check, check..... oh wait I need that one. Lol love the brushes I got from y’all.
What brush to use for headliner?

Just ordered the Long and short green brush. They'll be usefull for the wheels and front grills and door jambs.
Buy them all.
The amount of “that’s what she said” moments I had are insane.... I’m only 2 minutes in
Can't find the one you said is your favorite brush you like on the site
Would the short wheel and body brush be safe on factory gloss black rims that can scratch easily??
It would, as long as the wheels are clean. We actually suggest the Ultra Wheel and Body brush, as it is designed to keep for scratching or marring gloss wheels.

I thought you were gonna link the products down below
You should should make a wheel woolie
What brush would you recommend for the wheel wells in a compact car where the space is between the tire and the inside of them?
Short handle brush MIGHT fit. If not try a long but thin handled brush or normal rectangular brush with shorter bristles.
Might even get away with spraying an all purpose cleaner, leave it on for 1-2 minutes and power wash. Self car wash if you don’t have a power washer or live in a apt or condo building
I use a speed master or ez detail brush for those situations

that happens to me too. have you figured out a solution
Aren't nylon bristles a bit too aggressive for some wheel surfaces, such as painted wheels? I would expect the wheel brushes to be made of boar's hair
I thought the same thing...I know ADAM's carries a boars hair brush for wheels, might want to look at that one
Detail factory should make a wash mitt out of the makeup brush

I have one from I believe chemical guys (its tan) and the bristles are a little softer.
