Abercromby Street, St Joseph and Riverside Road, Curepe, Trinidad and Tobago

From the Eastern Main Road, I turned left onto Abercromby Road in St joseph. I continued driving up the hill till I made a right turn onto Riverside Road. I continued driving until I made a left turn onto the eastern Eastern Main Road in Curepe.

At 2:20, there is a slight turn to the first bridge. If one was to go down the street on the right, you should come to a dead end. If you could walk to the river bank you would (in the old days) see a concrete wall on each side of the river. According to my grandparents and my mother that was the original bridge. Ma told me hat it was washed away (that had to be about 70+ years ago). A woman was washed away on the bridge, her body was never found. My family went back 4 generations in Saint Joseph. Now not one of us lives in Trinidad anymore.

I grew up riverside road and I know the wall never knew it was a bridge. Would love to find some history on thatb
