Love your videos! One day me and my wife will be doing the exact same thing as you two!!! Keep um coming so we can have So much to look forward to!!! Mahalo!!!
Great video, enjoyed all of it! I lived in Steamboat for 13 years as a ski bum , been 20 years since I lived there, and not a day goes by that I don’t miss it…such a beautiful part of the country. Thank you for sharing with us and as always, stay safe out there……
Thanks Jeanie. Your comment about camping being about slowing down was right on. Your videos have helped us to decide to move to Colorado next spring. We have a 24 foot type C camper and are looking forward to many small trip from our new home to beautiful places not far from the house. Btw, we have been traveling to Colorado for over thirty years many times a year, so finally we decided to just move there and travel back here when we want to see the kids and grand kids. Again, thank you.
That's so wonderful! Wishing you all the best as you make the move to Colorado! You'll love it here! Thanks so much for watching! And happy camping too!!
The bears have learned how to enter vehicles and campers in this area. Also the mountain lions are getting very brave and hunting peoples dogs. Most locals carry firearms when outside.
Thanks for sharing. Have yet to wander out that way in Colorado. We took full advantage of the state park campgrounds when we lived in our RV. Our favorite was the one at Golden Gate Canyon State Park.
We really enjoyed Steamboat! Definitely can't wait to go back. State parks are great for camping when traveling...we have a bunch of state parks booked for our trip to Arizona and California. Thanks for watching and happy camping!
I totally know what you mean about campgrounds. Lol Unfortunately we usually have our horses with us when we camp so we don’t have a choice, but I would love to experience solitude of dispersed camping!! I’m afraid it might spoil me and I’ll never want to go back to horse campgrounds. Lol 😅
100%! And I totally understand exceptions to this...some also may need other amenities that a campgroung offers or their camper doest allow for off roading, etc. Dispersed camping has definitely set the bar high for us. 😅 Happy camping to you.
Like your videos. I see you use your front facing camera and everything is backwards. If that’s an iPhone there use a setting under the camera to turn off mirroring. Might want to try that. Keep traveling and creating content!
And thank you!!!! I've always wondered if I could turn that off i just didnt know what it was called! I found a setting on the android to turn off the mirroing. Thank you!!
Amazing contents right here! Glad I have found your channel! May I repost all videos under your channel name on another website called Ganjing World? Full credits and sources are inclusive, for sure. Thanks!
Just found your channel and my wife and I are binging on it. Just curious, did you document the transition from Jeep camping to truck camping? As we have done both and are truck campers now as well and curious as how you made the jump.
Hello, we are from Quebec, Canada and we are planning to boondock with our RV at different locations in Colorado. We have some fears of encountering bears during our hikes. Do you have any means of protection on you? In your videos I don't think I see them (bell, pepper spray)?
Both have lots of great benefits and soo very different! I would recommend visiting both so you can experience both to determine what would be best for you.
@@sheenaboyd3755 I lived in Steamboat Springs for 13 years and visited Colorado Springs a few times. They are two completely different places; Steamboat Springs is a small resort town (population just over 13,000 (when I lived there it was just under 10,000)) and Colorado Springs is a larger metropolitan like city (population just over 480,000). So it’s hard to compare the two as it’s like trying to compare apples to oranges. You would need to visit both to experience and see for yourself which would be a better fit for you. I personally say Steamboat Springs over Colorado Springs, but I like small, quaint out in the middle of nowhere towns
Really nice...
Thanks for watching!

We carry bear spray on all our hikes and during camping. Have a great time!

Thank you for your reply! keep up the good work. I like your videos!
STEAM BOAT HOT AIR BALLON RIDES
I would love to do that one day!
Now you need some bikes to add so you do not need to pack up and move all the time... Or add a canoe or paddle board....
Not much for biking, but we did buy a paddleboard! 🤗 I share it in my vlog I just posted this week.
Which is better between steamboat springs & colorado springs? Looking to move March 2023.
