    Hi Dr Tenzin
    I had a query regarding this...
    If you've cleared both AMC 1 & 2 ... Then you can move to Australia whenever you want? Like after clearing AMC 2, Can one take a "Gap" of 2-3 years before proceeding to move to Australia? Please clarify on that. We've a bond to serve here in India before moving out, so is there a "VALIDITY" after clearing the exams?

    • @DrTenzinWangchuk
      @DrTenzinWangchuk  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hi.
      No expiry validity post exams.
      Amc takes 2-3 years generally, so plan accordingly. Many circumstances including getting exam dates need to be considered.
      Can come to Australia only if u get a job offer.
      If continuously working in home country for few years post exams, nil issues.
      Only thing is clinical gap or not working is not desirable, should be atleast working 3 months full time prior to applying for jobs.

    • @jasujayswal6998
      @jasujayswal6998 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Thanks a lot for clarifying Dr. Tenzin!
      That means I can apply for a job in Australia after 4-5 yrs of clearing AMC exam too as it does not have a expiry?
      I'm planning to give the exams as soon as I complete my internship for better chances of clearing...But I have a bond to serve for 5-6 years... Considering 2-3 yrs to clear the Exam...Can I apply for jobs in Aus after serving my bond?

      Thanks a ton Dr. Tenzin!! Also does it apply to PLAB too? Like clearing the exams but not moving there for 3-5 years?

      English exam is only required for AHPRA registration and not for AMC exam. Generally it is ideal to take the English exam after AMC 1 as you will now be eligible to apply for the jobs. Having a valid English exam (PTE/OET/IELTS) makes you a more desirable candidate.

    Sir, if we qualify AMC online can we come to Australia for a job? What are the chances of fetching job there...
    Also, what will be the time span from AMC 1 to AMC clinical exam completion..

    • @DrTenzinWangchuk

      Chances of getting a job is good after Amc part 2.
      You can come to Australia after getting a job offer.
      No time limit from part 1 to part2

      If you have ED experience or good number of clinical years experience, then good chance.

    I already have the ECFMG registration. Do i still need to register for EPIC?

    Hey what if you have a gap after internship, i have just started with amc , will it damage my cv? And if yes then what to do?

    • @DrTenzinWangchuk
      @DrTenzinWangchuk  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hi.
      There’s no “damage” to your CV by anything.
      One of the essential criteria for AHPRA registration is recency of practice, which means you must be working full time without gaps especially in the last 3 months prior to joining a job. Any clinic gaps prior to this can be compensated by doing free online courses with CPD points. (I haven’t done these courses so might have to check google or from other candidates who have done it)
      However a desirable candidate for the hospitals to hire someone who has good clinical experience of working full time. That is not a NECESSITY criteria if you can prove CPD points and atleast 3 months of job.
      Some do few months of job in home country prior to applying for jobs and do online CPD courses if they have clinical gap.
      Hope this helps.
