As said in the teaser this would of been the best song I ever heard if there wasn’t a tearout drop. Those synths from the pre drop should been as the drop aswell. Although this is my opinion the intro was perfect and the buildup. The drop tho was disappointing, overblown and harsh.
*This is constructive criticism, not bashing. I respect AKVMA and her music. This ep was not for me. As someone who generally likes her music (I really enjoy Nuclear and Hunters) and who's favorite area of dubstep is tearout/riddim, this ep was honestly a huge step down for AKVMA. The flow and the ideas were all there, but it was the sound design. It felt incredibly uninspired and somewhat repetitive. If it weren't for the variation in heaviness and the nondrop sections, it would be pretty hard to tell these tunes apart. Again, I like and respect AKVMA's music, but this was incredibly disappointing knowing that this ep could have been a lot better with the talent she has.
Ty for this, I had gotten a new laptop during the making of this ep and I was worried that my year forced hiatus would make me sloppy, but I’ll do better next time ty for this 💜
That intro is long, and really put you in the ambience ! And this pre-drop is insane, with at the end an awesome drop ! My favorite of the EP !!!
