I LOVE how Armani luminous silk looks on my skin and it’s my favorite for when I want to look flawless, but sadly it breaks me out😩💔 I’m positive it’s bc of the fragrance (eg limonene and cinnamal) which clog my pores. I have combination acne prone skin. I only wear it for special occasions when I know I don’t have to be out the next few days so I can work on damage control on my skin. My Pat McGrath though never clogs my pores! But it’s more matte than satin/natural finish.

I would love if you would let me know how you apply the foundation, what’s underneath your foundation (primer, moisture?) and how you remove your makeup. I’m not doubting you’re experiencing acne break out but would live to know more ❣️
I agree. That’s why I don’t really use it too much anymore and prefer a stick foundation like TF or WAtelier. I know people looooovvvveee all things Lisa Eldridge and maybe one day I’ll give her line a go. Thank you for suggesting. If her brand was in a store and I could test it, I’m sure I would fall in love with it. She’s been in the industry forever and understands skin and all the different types and conditions. ❤ You can see that I have a strong love for makeup, so maybe I’ll order it and give it a go. ❤
@@Jamie-Loves yeah I’ve never used a stick foundation but I might try one. I felt the same ordering online as sometimes getting the right shade is tricky but I TH-camd swatches and managed to get the right one. I’ve got both the foundation and skin tint 👌🏼
@@Lorraine-lr5mg Instead of committing to a whole tube of stick foundation, stop at Sephora and have them give you a sample of both Tom Ford and Westman and see how you like it. But don’t try hourglass stick, too dry looking, which was shocking since it is a stick and should be more moisturizing. Let me know if you try one or the other and what you think. I’ll review Lisa Eldridge if I buy it. Now I’m curious. I think I can order at Selfridges. ❤️

I have a problem with luminous silk! My skin is dry and dehydrated and it emphasises that even with skin prep. I prefer Lisa Eldridge foundation now

It’s prob bc it contains alcohol denatured. That ruined it for me.
