I have the pleasure to own several Arno knives. A dear friend asked me a knife recommendation for her husband for a retirement gift. I showed her a couple of my Arno's and she loved them. I helped her pick out one and her husband absolutely adored it. Huge surprise! Thanks for the superb craftsmanship and quality. Best wishes.
That first 10 seconds. Felt in my bones! Great video especially the safety emphasis of grinding away from the spine, not toward. The result is a sharp edge without the risk of damage to the blade, equipment or body.
Great idea with your new channel. So far, I just know your great knives, now I see the persons behind them and some great tips are coming from your proven knowledge. All the best with your channel, I already subscribed!
Bought my first of your knives when I was on a safari. I just pre-ordered the imamba and can hardly wait for it to ship! Your knives are amazing and I enjoy your videos. If you don't own one of these knives you have never owned a good blade.
Thank you very much. Will keep you up to date as we progress with the iMamba. We plan on making much more videos this year. First one to come in the next week👍
I originally saw an Arno Bernard knife in an upscale knife shop and it stood out from all the others as something unique. I wanted one for a year after that. I finally got a 2019 exclusive skinner and to this day the steel and everything about it is unique and oh yea beautiful. I can’t wait to get another. Hopefully the one in this video!
Im a huger fan of your knives, and love seeing what go in to making them. Keep the videos coming the sharping and scabbard videos were great I’d love to see a handle video as well.
Brilliant and fun channel! There is no finer knife for the money, and I give them as very special gifts but it is hard to part with them. I clearly need to invest in some tools😬.
Congrats Christopher on winning the knife. The random picker selected you as the winner. Please email me your physical address and we will ship the knife to you. My email is in our about page on TH-cam.
Bought an Orca folding knife with wart hog scales about a year ago, it has become one of my favorites. You South Africa makers seem to have an edge on the competition. ( No pun intended!)
Hi Tank. Thank you very much. The Orca is actually my dad's folder and is not part of our catalog. He makes his own knives. We are making the iMamba flipper folder coming June. I will tell my dad as he has no social media or website👍

Beautiful blade , can’t wait to win it /lol . I was just looking at your knives on DLT & got on TH-cam & this video pops up . One way or the other I will soon have a Arno Bernard knife . Really like your videos/btw .
It performs really well and easy to resharpen. All the customers that bought one of our knives are more than happy with the performance of the knives. We do consider making a new fixed blade in the future with a super steel so we can have a line for customers looking for a super steel version.

great video only the grids of the belt was not given , this makes it hard to try to sharpen like him .
He uses a 80# and then a #220. Then the leather belt buffs the cutting edge making it very sharp.
