  • The Conflict Islands was our last port of call on our fabulous PNG adventure. The Conflict Group of islands is made up of 21 untouched and mainly uninhabited islands making this probably one of the most idyllic places on the planet. Our home for the day was Panasesa Island with pristine clear waters and beautiful white sand.
No cash is accepted on the island but you can use your credit card with the vendors that set up for the day selling food, drinks and souvenirs. You can also hire snorkeling equipment and watercraft such as glass bottom kayaks and the like.
You can also find lots more information on our website at www.robandali.net
Thanks for supporting us and take care. Don't forget to Like and Subscribe to watch more of our Cruise and Travel adventures.

    Yes
Thank you for visiting Milne Bay.
The outskirts of Milne Bay is more beautiful than Alotau town. Theres not much in Alotau.
The Islands have more to see & love.
Hope you can come again & tell friends & family about Milne Bay tours.
Im a local resident & the Panaesaesa Islands are privately owned & also considered a conservation area.
Unfortunately, I think fishing is not allowed.
    Thanks for visiting Milne Bay.
    😊
    Commenting from Alotau town.

Eight weeks until we do this cruise. On Conflict Islands, did I understand you mentioned that there are some small markets? What souvenirs/ trinkets are on offer? Did they accept cash for these items? Thank you so much for your informative videos and the help you have given us to plan our upcoming trip

Looks lovely and I wouldn’t mind going there one day and I think we have one going from Sydney near where I live to New Guinea on Pacific Adventure which is the same as your Pacific Encounter is they are both beautiful

Hi Wendy. It really was beautiful. To be honest it's a bit of a contest between Conflict Islands and Mystery Island. I thin Conflict water and snorkeling is better but there is more to do on Mystery.

Just had a look at your previous restaurants video and I'm wondering if you could tell me what times the two nightly shows are on. We are going on the same cruise in two weeks and we're just trying to sort out our dining times, based around the show times. Thanks in advance!

Hi and thanks for the comment. They are usually 7pm and 9pm. If you have a look in the library, P&O tab, on our website (www.robandali.net) you will see the Good Times for every day we were on there and that will give you an idea of what happens and when. Hope you have a fantastic cruise.

Question -how safe is your gear left on the beach while you snorkel at the Conflict Islands?

    • @robandalicruisetravel
      @robandalicruisetravel  ปีที่แล้ว

Hi Debra. There are no locals living on the island so I guess it really depends on how much you are willing to trust other passengers. The only things we took of value were the cameras and a couple of them did stay in the bag well covered up whilst we went in the water. We kept an eye on them when we could and they were not touched. Having said that, with anything left on a beach whilst you go in the water, there is always a chance that someone might take aa fancy to it so I suppose just be a careful as you can and only take what you need would be the best advice that we can give.
