    Your supposed to change your balde every 6 months

    • @DelaceLeCoiffeur
      @DelaceLeCoiffeur  2 ปีที่แล้ว +9

      👋 Hey, thanks for the suggestion👍. It would depend on the amount of usage the trimmer delivers and for how long. This would determine when the blade should be replaced because '6 months' is an arbitrary number.
      Now, if the user trims/shaves facial hair once a week or 52x a year, why would one replace the blade🤔 every 6 months?
      Please explain your reasoning for 6 month replacement?

      Ive had my gold fx trimmers for 3 years and havent changed blade yet. Im booked solid 5 days a week so theyve seen a ton of volume they still crunch like 1st day i got em and i know exactly how they feel when i use them i wont change blades untill they start snagging. You change blades when you feel they need it

    i got a new gold fx trimmer with the stock gold fx707z blade, it looked to already be zerogapped from factory, i noticed when i use it on really small neck hairs, it seeems to kinda grab/pull, but only when the hair is super tiny, kinda like when its trimmed the day before and just grows a tiny bit. it seems to cut other hairs fine. is this normal? i assume when the hair is super small its kinda coarse, which is why this blade cant cut it properly hence the grabbing/pulling? unless im mistaken. thx

      You probably have to tighten the screws. it sucks you dropped them but I went through the same thing lol. I took mine apart & seen no problem but noticed the screw was slightly loosened so I took time to tighten every screw near the blade. If that doesn’t work then idk what’s wrong lol good luck!

    What happens if the screws are worn down and can’t take the screw off?

    • @DelaceLeCoiffeur
      @DelaceLeCoiffeur  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I hope that this would never happen, but it should be an easy fix. It would also depend on which screws were worn down. 🤔

      Drop some clipper oil around the screw, had the same issue yesterday and that resolved it 😁

      Mine was stripped to so i put a drop of super glue in the screw and put the lil screw driver that comes wit it in the screw wit the super glue still wet . I held the screw driver for a lil let it dry a bit then once fully dry i was able to turn the screw it worked good

  • @talknheadz
    @talknheadz 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Yeah, but the only major problem is, its not that easy. When you got to tight the screws, the moving blade never stays where you put it. It ALWAYS moves when you tighten it down. Im a barber or 36 years. Ive never been able to set liners in one go. It takes days of trial an error with clients and my own skin. Either one side is to sharp or not. The best way is to have the moving blade slightly above the comb blade and youll have to use your trimmers as a bald out blade for abfrw weeks untli the hair sands down the moving blade over a period of time they'll be perfect. Always have extra trimmers for the time being but this has always been the best way for me. Thats with any and every trimmer. Hair does sand down blades. Trust me.
