The hitch is a gamechanger. Totally makes it so much easier and safer. I couldn't tow my camper without it.

Did the airlift bags on mine and a set of air shocks run 45 pounds air in bags and around 120-130 in shocks run 46 pounds pad air in tires I pull a 7600 dry weight 33ft bumper pull camper. Have a anti sway hitch but also used a factory rear shock from my truck and modified it to fit where the slide sway control hooked up works fantastic to control sway don’t feel a thing when big trucks pass me can ride at 70 comfortably

Hey Paul, nice setup. I see this was posted a couple of years ago and this is probably irrelevant but incase you didn't catch it there are two parts to the puzzel that are important. 1. always run a hitch pin on the ball clasp. 2. Run a emergency brake away in the event $#it hits the fan the trailer will come to a stop and not run rogue. And a bonus tip on the air bag setup: I set up a rig with one air valve and the air pressure would transfer from one side to the other under cornering, sometimes causing a snap oversteer. Here in Tahoe I'll place the air valves behind the gas door to keep out of the weather. Hopefully this helps someone the first two items are important. Nice rig BTW, my Ram is a Quad cab sport 4x with a 3.92 rear 8spd, it hooks up out of the hole in AWD! fun stuff. Cheers!
Taking a closer look, it appears there is an emergency brake a way. The attachment 'should' be separate from the chain connection, best is to connect it to a separate part of the truck like license plate bracket, in the event that the entire reciever fails, which is not common but does happen.

How much did this legally increase your towing capacity?
I have a 2022 Ram classic LE, I need to Increase from 11000 to like 17500
Good question - all I an say is that I was able to tow my race car in a 24’ enclosed trailer without even trying
@PaulDaFox I have since done my homework. Airbags don't increase your payload at all legally. They simply allow the ride to be distributed better and for a smoother ride. Axle or gear ratio is one of the big deciding factors on the GVRW, and the limiting factor seems to be the GCVRW
Do you know what the trailer is weighting in at fully loaded?

Why didnt you just buy the factory e brake? Its a couple hundred dollar and they flash it at the dealer. Now its on the dash and out of your way getting in and out of the truck.
The factory E-brake installed and programmed was almost 3x the cost of the one I got.
What is "full weight"? What is the most weight you would safely tow with this set up?
I’ve towed on several occasions my enclosed 24’ Car trailer with a 3,000lb car, loaded with tool box, fuel, generator etc and it handled it no problem! Thanks for watching, have a great weekend!!👊🏼🏁
