Cool flooring Nigel!! That will give you insulation and some suspension which is nice when standing for a long time! I love it!! That seed packet just photo-bombed you at 1:06 and you didn't even flinch!! Well done!! What a riot! Windy much?! It is nice and tidy! Bubble wrap was a good choice!! Celery is looking good! Must have been nice to have that bit of warmth in a T-shirt again! So glad you didn't lose the tomatoes!! Those lettuce looks delectable!! Hi Chris, well spotted with the flying seed packet 🤣. My shelves are rammed full and so thing fall off on a regular basis😱 The shaker is an old one we had for sprinkling patterns on coffees... I have had mixed results with pinching out peppers so now I don't bother. I am looking forward to the Vegepod project....who knows what will end up in there😉. I'm skittish Nigel, lol.. it made me jump!! I was impressed that you kept your cool! I suppose you've become conditioned with it being packed full! The shaker is a great idea!! I don't like the idea of double dipping the fungi, but sometimes take more than I need.. with a shaker, that never happens so it's a perfect solution! Good to know on the peppers... whatever survives for me in peppers will be overwintered indoors, so that next year, all I need to do is place a pot of them outside to regrow. I've done that a few times with good success and got an early crop that way! I think the vegepod project is a great idea and perfect for small space gardeners!! Greenhouse looks good, plants look even better. Looks like a bumper summer to me. I'm still clearing my beds up from the rain flooding I had but the summer crops had finished anyway. So no great harm. Just a lot of work. Cheers & keep safe.

Great video Nigel, We are I think at a very busy time potting on peppers and tomatoes where we need as much space as possible, I know you have seen my Marmande well they are all in there last growing pots and by do they need some room, because of the risk of frosts at night I put my potatoes back in the greenhouse adding to the space problem thankfully it's only at night, Take care Nigel and I'll catch you on the next one.

Great update mate. I am in desperate need of space, attic is full of peppers, chillies, tomatoes, onions and flowers. Green house full of onions. If I was you mate I would get some chilli Focus and start to feed your peppers. 🫑🫑🫑🫑🫑
Hi Rob, I do have chilli focus that I got from the Devon chilli farm last year 👍.The plants will be fed soon as I can see the leaves changing colour on a few, I do foliar feed with seaweed and a flit sprayer also especially the toms and cuts once they are in flower. We've never grown bunching onions, but will have to give it a try - we're cooking more Asian food and need to replace supermarket onions. The bulbing onions just aren't the same.

Our weather here in Germany is so erratic. It was 22c two days ago, and now it's only going up to 8. Next week we'll be down to -2 over night. It's hard to cope with such wild swings, especially for a beginner like me.

Nigel some of my peppers leaves have gone quite a dark glossy black colour they been under lights and I’ve sprayed them with cold tea etc I’ve had horrendous problems with bloomin red spider mite gods know how any ideas ? The chillis I think I’m ok with as you know first year with lights. The weather is ridiculous one time hot then cold work party tomorrow at allotment so helping out putting some new perimeter fencing. Great update and tips see ya soon all the best cheers 🍻

I've got my peppers and tomatoes in my living room at the moment for heat, but they are quickly becoming too big. Do you think the temperatures are warm enough now to transfer these to the allotment cold frame?
Hello Jacob, not sure where you are located but here in the Midlands we're still getting temperatures around or below zero. I would still keep them indoors till all risk of frost has passed. Hi Brian, not the cheapest, but with care they should last us a good few years. Hello Jacob, not sure where you are located but here in the Midlands we're still getting temperatures around or below zero. I would still keep them indoors till all risk of frost has passed. If they do seem a bit leggy, just plant them deeper into the soil, they will be fine 👍

in the future i would like to invest in a vita pod, but at the moment i don't know what space i have available. once i finalise where things are going, i will know better..................brian
Hi Brian, not the cheapest, but with care they should last us a good few years. The big bonus for me - and I guess you...when I have finished using them I dismantle the sides back to flat pack and store the lot in the loft....reclaiming the bench space again 😀👍
