I’ve been building him as a support and it’s working surprisingly well. His kit allows for a supportive role to happen simply because of all the CC he has. Slow,knock back,an incredibly annoying arena ult, a leap that helps your backed team mates get back faster it’s all so great.
His fire sword description says it scales off his Max HP... It won't do tower damage, and there's no Attack Speed buff... But it works with Animosity and they reverted the tower damage too
something super frustrating I stumbled upon is that if you have a friendly odin and they ult, and a gilg kicks you into the odin wall, you will still get stunned. Even though the wall is not a wall for you. I died two or three times the other day because of this.
Just here to add that I’ve found that Gilg’s drop kick can be used to go through atleast some player made walls such as Yimir’s one or even Yemoja’s ulti. You just need to be right up next to them, you won’t deal damage through the wall with the drop kick tho.

Is kit is really boring honestly... his fire sword feels 100% like Bakasura's basic buff even if it's not true dmg but with a OP slow. His leap is a leap. His ult is highly boring both graphicaly and as a gameplay. Only cool thing is Dropkick

Leaping onto an enemy and getting into position with the bonus move speed to kick them into a wall in satisfying af. Kicking a minion and aiming it at a god to stun him is also fun. His kit may be simple but there is a lot of outplay potential. Danza, cthulhu, and tsukuyomi? not so much. Tiamat has out play potential however I still prefer gilg

His drop kick is pretty easy to avoid because its extremely telegraphed, the 1 does insane damage along with the slow and qins like effect, but its a close range ability. Honestly, this is the thing that i feel like if they toned anything down, this would be the ability. His 1 is a bit bloated ngl. The jump is average, its just huge tbh. And the ult i think is the most difficult aspect of his kit, but i think its honestly fine. By itself it isnt the greatest, even after casting you’ve got to actively utilize it or else it doesnt do much
Theres also a bug, or some type of mechanic or glitch, that when you kick an enemy god through a Janus ultimate, they infinitely go throught the portal or get stuck. so you can kick someone with full health through the portal and they take DOT until theyre dead. I have a clip of it, its actually nuts
I kicked someone through their siege portal which teleported him all the way to his siege monster at our pheonix xD. I freaked, thought he glitched out the game lol.
He is fun to play, I can't wait until they nerf him tho. I don't play much conquest, but in nearly every other gamemode he's leading damage, mitigation, gold, and kills. I personally think they should make his jump on his three a smaller area (similar to anhur) but still apply the same radius on the star (the thing that gives allies movement speed and lifesteal). It would make the gilga actually have to try to hit the ability, instead of just jumping and spamming.
Gilgamesh can go through Ymir wall with his drop kick but it won’t allow you to hit someone after you go through the wall and in some cases he just breaks it but I don’t know how that interaction happens
Alright here is one I discovered, if you kill a janus with a kick when he is puting a portal in the wall we will teleport and die, then when he revives he will get damaged and stuned if he walks into an ally, minion, wall, this will not stop until you get stuned or pulled by other enemy god and also he will get stunea and damaged when he use his own portals, sadly I was the janus when I discovered this.

While he's definitely fun, his dropkick is still a little buggy. I've both been stunned and stunned other people by dropkicking them into minions in the middle of the lane. It remember it happening near the outer ring of the tier 1 tower.

Exactly, I can say he's somewhat of a strong character but he can easily be shutdown. Struggling in late game is a thing for him. I can say he can survive in mid game if he gets more level out of the lobby by bullying his enemy lane right of the bat (in solo mainly that is) in some roles like duo his beginning game is kinda frustrating to set off lol. I can say he can get annoying to fight specifically the creative gilgamesh players...like me 😃

Statistically, he's average in Conq. But we'll have to see how that changes once people learn him, which will definitely take a while.
Feel like he's semi easy to fight. Like his actions can get him in serious trouble. Like his leap and dropkick imo. Catch him in the act lol.

Gilgamesh can also clip through certain objects, such as towers and phoenixes. Needs more testing to see what all he can go through
Also his 3rd ability buffs effects friendly minions but I'm not smart enough to know any useful way to utilize that

It's not a "wall" for enemy Odin, he walks right through. Would have to be ur teams ult.

For arena go tier 2 boots start at level 1. Then build: Warrior Tabi > Bluestone / Tainted > Shifter’s Shield > Talisman of Energy / Winged Blade > Void Shield > Pridwen / Mantle > upgrade starter to Bluestone Brooch / Tainted Breastplate. For Relic options consider Blink, Beads, Ankh, Sunder.
