Red/Green or Red/Blue are really the only two options for Aladdin, since the only colors that can provide ward to other characters (to prevent aladin from being banished by abilities when ready) are green and blue. Green/Red might actually be really good, with Prince Phillip providing ward to other hero characters and Fang giving characters that are there ward and evasive. Its an idea for sure, but probably not the best deck in the game. You never know unless you try it though, so who knows!!
I more or less agee with this video, save for a couple of things. Firstly, Aladdin is just waiting to break back into the meta again. All it will take is one solid deck that works to steal lore, and he will be the top end curve of said deck. Weve already seen cards like this continue to be released, and there are some interesting options already being shown for set 5. Tl;dr: don't claim Heroic Outlaw is down for the count quite yet. Secondly, as silly as it sounds, First Chapter Rafiki could end up working in a deck that doesn't want the bounce package. The keywords have started to matter more as well. It could be that you run BOTH Rafiki in a Mentor deck in the future. Again, I'm quite possibly reaching hard with this one, but a 3/3 body that quests for 1, that also has Rush, is still a solid card overall. As for everything else, I never thought much of those cards to begin with, and I enjoyed your breakdown. Just an fyi though, Cerberus is only 5 Ink, not 6, and could come down on the same turn as Shift Cinderella. Cindy is clearly so much better, but I did want to point that out lol. 😂
I'm not sure exactly what extra cards Aladdin would need cause he has a lot of tools now and continues to see no play 😭 Rafiki has the highest of chances too see play moving forward but will be a tough ask when the bounce core is so deadly 🤣 appreciate your comment/support tho! Hope u enjoied the video!
@@BudgetInkwell I'm not talking about using some deck that Aladdin was a part of in Chapter One. I'm talking about a new deck, build specifically around making your opponent lost lore. The two drop Tremaine requires that your opponent have more lore than you to force the loss, which isn't hard. It also allows you to shift big Tremaine out by turn 4. Honest John causes loss of lore with each Floodborn played. We've already got the Aladdin and Tremaine. Set 5 adds Donald, who creates loss of lore when shifted. You're telling me that you can't see that Ravensburger is clearly trying to make lore loss an archetype? Maybe it doesn't get everything that it needs by set 5. But the cards are definitely on the way. If nothing else, a deck using this archetype will be a meta disruptor.
@@KrisPBaconnn currently, I do not disagree at all. Assuming that they keep the core of each color what it is now, is should stay that way in the future as well. But regardless, Ruby lore loss will almost certainly be at the very least, a playable archetype, within the next year.
aladdin was not seriously played in s1. maybe you saw him at the local level because he was in the starter deck and easy for people to get but in all the 1k's i played in set one i played against a lot of R/A and none of them had aladdin in top 8. A card that could have fit this slot tho from set R/A could have been Ursula, elsa or magic mirrior. all cards that where prominate cards in all top 8 R/A lists that once set 2 came out disappeared because of how slow they where

From peak pokemon to peak Lorcana content! Helpful, informative, and super fun no matter the tcg
Ayo appreciate you my friend! This is fantastic feedback🔥😭

How do you feel about the Bucky errata and do you think it’s enough to take him out of the meta?
Most definitely, at least for now! Flynn rider and pegasus I don't think are strong enough together to keep it afloat 😭
Robin Hood works with the new Peter Pan in Amethyst. Gains rush and draws a card if opponent has more cards. Very relevant with Diablo.
Fair enough that's news to me but makes sense 🙏🙏
set 1 Aladdin was an amazing time.
Feels like ages ago now 😂😭

Fight! Fight! Fight!
Too much of this video is just "This card isn't good any more because [list of every other good card of the same color]."
Hard to make a power creep video without mentioning the cards that came out after that replaced the old ones. Funny that
@@BudgetInkwell For Rafiki, for instance, the only card that needs mentioning is Mim Fox. The others are just padding the runtime.
I didn't know people seriously played this game I thought it was a collector's nonsense
Check out the podcana podcast. Great comp scene growing as sets go on
The prize support is insane and better than the prize support from games like yugioh
