My joyfriend just got into lorcana and naturally decided to drag me along. They bought me a starter deck, taught me to play, and I’ve been slowly customizing the deck I was given. This is my first tcg I’ve played period. Currently my absolute favorite card is Marshmallow from frozen. His power rises with each card you have in your hand, and I just love that snowball effect. Been trying to build around it by putting in cards with draw power into my deck

Another beginner mistake could be not keeping your deck size as close to the 60card minimum as possible. Adding cool powerful cards feels like an easy choice when in the excitement of pulling them. But the more cards there are the lower the chances of pulling each card. That means when you are really counting on a certain card things can get less consistent.

In Amber i love the new Ursula Eric's Bride... BUT my hero on pixelkborn was the Muskleterr Daisy Duck, making the opponent choose discard a card She is a favorite of mine nowadays. Bare Necessities can be used to make op discard items in blue decks!

Steel: Sheriff of Noittingham + the draw a card then discard a card package (simba (1), cinderella(2), the bayou, the huntsman, simba (7), ransack, etc) This slays anything in your path without attacking. I was bullying Diablo decks the last weeks of pixelborn with this

I like hercules but issue i have seen is fox trades with it. Sending a maui into castle makes them use more removal for him

How do you feel about the Bucky errata and do you think it’s enough to take him out of the meta?

Too much of this video is just "This card isn't good any more because [list of every other good card of the same color]."

Red/Green or Red/Blue are really the only two options for Aladdin, since the only colors that can provide ward to other characters (to prevent aladin from being banished by abilities when ready) are green and blue. Green/Red might actually be really good, with Prince Phillip providing ward to other hero characters and Fang giving characters that are there ward and evasive. Its an idea for sure, but probably not the best deck in the game. You never know unless you try it though, so who knows!!

Whole new world is a joke to be mad about. Oh no I'm sorry amethyst player, excuse me while you're drawing a new hand every turn by yourself but fuck me if I want to to give us BOTH new cards. Yea it's garbage to hate on wheel. Game two, play into it then if you're that scared

I think you could have titled this "Most hated cards in Lorcana SO FAR" instead. History is catchy and all but also misleading as the game isn't that old as you pointed out. Not trying to be rude, I just think you could make the video age better by making it into an ongoing series, updating every so often instead of dating the video with hard statements like the one in the current title.

All the discard effect cards are why I came up with the smart decision of making sure my hand is completely empty depending on the opponent.

This could be the first ban list :)

Instead of making your entire deck around it, if you threw a one-of trumpet in blue/steel I could see it working. You could play him on turn 3 if you ramped with one jump, then turn 4 you play a Tamatoa, or a Hades, or big tink, while still having ink for an item or something

One thing I love is people making decks to specifically accommodate cards with interesting effects the are hard or suboptimal to insert into a deck built without it in mind.

I’ve been building and playing an Amber version simply because I didn’t have the money to grab AWNW. While it is suboptimal to the steel version, it’s still quite fun. Jafar might be one of the most overall fun cards in Lorcana thus far.

aladdin was not seriously played in s1. maybe you saw him at the local level because he was in the starter deck and easy for people to get but in all the 1k's i played in set one i played against a lot of R/A and none of them had aladdin in top 8. A card that could have fit this slot tho from set R/A could have been Ursula, elsa or magic mirrior. all cards that where prominate cards in all top 8 R/A lists that once set 2 came out disappeared because of how slow they where

I more or less agee with this video, save for a couple of things. Firstly, Aladdin is just waiting to break back into the meta again. All it will take is one solid deck that works to steal lore, and he will be the top end curve of said deck. Weve already seen cards like this continue to be released, and there are some interesting options already being shown for set 5. Tl;dr: don't claim Heroic Outlaw is down for the count quite yet. Secondly, as silly as it sounds, First Chapter Rafiki could end up working in a deck that doesn't want the bounce package. The keywords have started to matter more as well. It could be that you run BOTH Rafiki in a Mentor deck in the future. Again, I'm quite possibly reaching hard with this one, but a 3/3 body that quests for 1, that also has Rush, is still a solid card overall. As for everything else, I never thought much of those cards to begin with, and I enjoyed your breakdown. Just an fyi though, Cerberus is only 5 Ink, not 6, and could come down on the same turn as Shift Cinderella. Cindy is clearly so much better, but I did want to point that out lol. 😂

Robin Hood works with the new Peter Pan in Amethyst. Gains rush and draws a card if opponent has more cards. Very relevant with Diablo.

At 6 mins in, I made a misplay and shuffled my deck after using Ariel Music Debut - I should have just placed the other cards on the bottom of the deck. I saw a lilo in the 3 and Burts checked my bottom and it was the bottom card again so we called it good :)

You can play Let the Storm rage on when you and your opponent have no characters on board. However, if you're the only one with characters in play, you'll be forced to deal 2 damage to one of your own characters. If neither player has characters on the field, then you simply draw a card. Interesting deck, by the way! A Pirate's Life is an underrated card, imo. It's not always useful, but when it pops off, it's awsome!

I have a deck that is blue, red, and has nothing over 2 ink in it....and it has never lost, like 30 wins now. This isn't such a stretch, because it's sheer numbers. Unless you are prepared for the "weenie deck", then you're going to have a hard time taking it all down before I can out lore you. I can spend every turn questing, and you have to spend every turn trying to kill off everything. And while you can probably easily do this, you can't usually take them all out because of one attack per character thing. Like I said, unless you are prepared for it, so you know what's coming.

Imagine coming against my red blue deck with this... 😂

Good content. I've taken the plunge and have been slowly but surely getting my hands on starter decks and packs. Grabbed an Inklands treasure trove and pulled an alternate art Robin Hood. But my favorite card is easily Friends on the Other Side. Who doesn't love card draw?

That's such an awesome way to make use of cards from both sets that don't see a ton of love! I need to find a few more Aladdin's then I can make this and try it out at league! I'll post updates on how the deck works.

Wait, i thought this was bad because the cards say "each opponent," aka you are also losing 2 or 1 card/s am i not understanding something? If im understanding it correctly the only thing that helps this is the card "do it again" where you could discard action cards and easily get them back into your hand. So if i was battling you i would call bull
