This game was filmed at Old Tucson Studios the same place that American Laser Games filmed The Last Bounty Hunter and Fast Draw Showdown both released in 1994 around the same time as Konami's Lethal Enforcers 2 Gun Fighters.
Man, I am happy to see another blast from the past. Back when I was visiting Walt Disney World in Florida, the hotel we stayed in had this cabinet in it. Might have been the only one too. I can only say that I did my best (and still did terribly) but at least it only cost one quarter per continue. On the other hand, if you took a short hike (or a 1$ bus ride) to a local shopping center one could find Time Crisis 3 and Aliens: Extermination. My pockets didn't last much longer there, but at least they were helluva more fun in the long run. (I also recall images of massive candy apples, but that isn't relevant to the arcade part of the story.) PS. The shaman turning into skeleton creeped me out when I first saw it, but seeing that "transition" now made me laugh at it. Oh well, the effects team tried their best at the time.
I do find it can be tough to see what's popping up, and you don't always have too much time to react before you get shot by the bad guys. The positions of the innocent people are always the same, at least, so it is possible to know what's going to happen next, although there are quite a few to keep track of.
Stop shooting innocent victims but some are hard to tell between them and the bandits in their western outfits so I thought one of them who was armed such as the lantern guy who was one of the innocents. The prequel is hard than the 1st but still fun. The rifle can shoot down more than 1 enemy but don't shoot the innocents who are behind them

I didn't think there were any weird problems like that. Some games on MAME have an option in the service menu where you can flip the screen, but I've never seen a game start already flipped. Which version of MAME32UI were you using?
This game is definitly broken since a newer mame release. Ten years ago (maybe a little earlier) I remembered playing this without ANY graphical glitches. Don't know, what happened..

I've had little to no luck with rail shooters; sometimes the sprites move so fast that it's hard to tell an outlaw from a calvary man.
