Where Are the Poles in Dire Dire Docks? | Super Mario 64 LP - Part 18

- In part 18 of my Super Mario 64 LP we get ALMOST all of the stars in Dire Dire Docks! For some reason we can't get star 3 : Pole Jumping for Red Coins?!

I also didn’t get the poles. And I’m confused.
You just gotta beat Bowser for the second time, then Bowser's sub goes away, and poles appear in that room!

You have to defeat Bowser in the fire sea to get rid of the sub and spawn the poles in order to get them

There are moving poles that Mario would grab onto and ride to get the red coins but I also don't have poles
After you beat Bowser the second time in "Bowser in the Fire Sea" go back to Dire Dire Docks and the poles will be there!

It's possible to do without the poles. There's just some notoriously difficult platforming to do.

@@k0rrupt1on 7 of them are manageable, but I spent few hours failing that stupid jump up the cage jump last night. I eventually accidentally jumped into the sub star by mistake.
how I can make appear the blue block for the cap?
I’m confused. I can only get the submarine when I first entered the level, but even if I select the submarine level now, no submarine, but there is poles. And, even when I DO get the sub, the poles are there. Wtf? Ur game is glitched
I found out that you have to beat Bowser in the Fire Sea to make the poles show up on Dire Dire Docks! I believe if I went back to do the "Board Bowsers Sub" star again after Beating Bowser for the second time, the sub AND the poles would be there too! I haven't tested that to know for sure though!

I am having the same problem.. no poles can't get the red coins on this level. 😑
Once you beat Bowser for the second time, go back to this level! Bowser's sub will be gone and there will be poles on the ceiling that you can climb on!

uhh, you probably already realised this but:
you have to beat the 2nd bowser so the submarine dissappears and at the same time the poles will appear.

There is no way how to get cross
Beat Bowser in the Fire Sea first, then come back to Dire Dire Docks. Then the submarine should be there!
