March 18th, 2020 (session 26) -- Day 3 of my Deerfield, FL fishing trip. After two days of saltwater fishing (watch previous videos), I decided to change gears and explore a Florida Canal that I have never fished before! 🧱 ...I caught my first ever Blue Tilapia (Oreochromis aureus) on July 12th, 2017. It came from a small pond in Orlando, when I fished with my friend Finna Fish (bit.ly/2xwpjnX). The reason why I took it out of my lifelist is because the catch was "too guided." Not only I was given the watershed for the Species, I was actually given the PRECISE location for the fish. Haha. In other words, the PRECISE little spot to put my hook in and catch the fish! This type of "guided fishing" is something that I started to disapprove of for my Lifelist, as my lifelisting ideologies advanced. Thus, nowadays, I only count new species of fish in my lifelist if I found it and caught it myself (own gear, own technique). An exception to this rule would be Party Boats -- solely exception, by the way.

Didn't need the GPS for this location. All you have to do is look for the autism thrift store. a little street view from hwy 441 confirms it's the right spot. Google earthing your Florida trips is a fun hobby for shut-ins.
I put in the coordinates anyway...just to show people that I don't fool around. When I do my lure reviews, it is always a public spot -- and I don't mind revealing it at all. Lol.

@@nicolepeana4010 I tried to argue that my lure fishing was a form of exercise, because we are allowed out for one form of exercise, but I was told it's not allowed under the strict rules that the Prime Minister has imposed. We are told this lock down could last until June, but I am itching to get out with my fishing tackle
First, I would like to point out that this series was shot more than a week ago, from the 16th to the 20th of March -- when lockdown wasn't even enforced in Florida yet. As for your question -- there is no federal law right now that prohibits anyone from fishing. Thus, all legislation is on state level at the moment. Since each state in the USA has different rules/regulations, you have to go by state. Some states are enforcing a NO FISHING rule whereas other states say it is OKAY, as far as people practice social distancing and all the other advice to mitigate the illness.

one day I was near everglade by Coral Springs and I just brought a live target soft swimming bait to try it out and when I got there throw couple times and accidentally throw by the branches and it was only about 7ft from me and I see the water was only about 3-4 ft deep and I was thinking should I go in and get it for like ...5 mins and I decided to walk into the water, as soon I walked into the water on my other side I hear a splash and I took off... dont wanna to be alligator lunch you know what i mean lol

Although I didn't mention it in the video, I was able to see bottom where I was stepping in the water, and I carefully looked around to see if any Gators were on the move or hiding. LOL. I took my chances, but I guess people will understand that it is a dangerous situation to go in the water anywhere in FL. LOL.

My spot that I fish almost every day has tarpon, bass, Mayans, massive tilapia, bigmouth sleeper goby, snook on one side of the canal... also huuuuuge mullet like 5lbs that jump all day long. Would be a great multi species place for you EPF

Leo I used to Live in Florida if you want to get those things off in a hurry Use Duct tape its adhesive is strong enough to do what your hands are doing but it buts more at a time, Or you can carry a butter knife and scrape them off also. get you some white and chartreuse Beetle spins. They always seem to Go nuts in canals over them we put small yum baits on them and it gets all kinds of species
