Ultralight rod and reel setup with fish that are biting is the best!!! I know it is fun finding those big fish, but there's something super fun about those little fish that are biting like they want to get big.
Its crazy it's either a group of 3lb catfish or less or a giant 24lb catfish. The small guys on real worms the big one on 6 inches soft plastic Berkley worm for bass. I also had lots of small bass smaller then my hand.my biggest was like 3lb or less. The best catch was from a big rock in the water. I casted up stream let it go behind the rock and 2 small mouth bass got it. It felt like a snag because the fish where fighting me the current and each other. I have pictures but youtube won't let me show in comments.
👀 for sure that water looks great to fish, also that bait you are using looks really cool as well. The rubber paddle tail, I guess you can call it. It looks small enough for trout . Look dude ...to see how effective your lure is..... When fishing and trying your baits ..... Try another diferent and you will see the results will be the same...... So...theres is no " magic" in your baits .... I think it counts more the spot than the bait.......✌🏾👌🏾

Bolivar dam. Never had a lot of luck there except for a tiny smallie or two. Good to see there's decent crappie fishing!

That underwater footage is fantastic
Use a Zman 1/10 or 1/15 Ned hook the shank is longer so u will have so much better hook up ratio, very thin light hook and it have a lure holder
