Actually it seems like, it might even get worse 😂🙈. When I called LV to arrange the pick-up of the return, the customer service lady accused my, why I hadn’t reported the issues with pictures IMMEDIATELY- and that I had ordered the bag already end of April, as if she indicated, I wore the bag and that‘s why it has flaws. Eventhough it’s obviously signs of poor manufacturing, not use 😤. I‘m very curious to see, if I‘ll get my money back without any problem, as soon as they recieved the bag.. or if they will try to make it seem, as it was my fault 🤨
I saw part 2 and now this video. You're not overreacting. We deserve good quality. I've wanted a louis vuitton bag since I was 13 years old. I can finally afford one, so in a few years, when I can go to a store with my mum, I will buy a nano speedy in empreinte leather. I live in Belgium, where we have 3 stores. Wish me luck 🙏.

💯 agree with you. I actually attempted to buy a Limited Edition Speedy bag 4 times and each had quality issues, problematic zippers were amongst the biggest issue. Very disappointing. NOT luxury quality.

The workshop had shifting stories as to why the return was rejected, to include 'wear' on the handles. I could not even unzip the bag, it was not functional and impossible to use. I've provided additional photos, thank goodness I took them, timestamped and all. I owned this defective bag for 4 days. I couldn't get to UPS to return it until Friday after work, having taken personal time off to receive it that Monday. I reported the quality issues to LV upon receipt that Monday, in a very detailed email, about ALL 4 bags, hoping LV would take the quality issues seriously. Instead, they seem to want to stick me with 1 of these 4 defective bags. I now how to fight to get LV to accept the return, for a bag I had in my possession for 4 days and could not even unzip.
Wow! I just received this beautiful color bag after ordering it online… one of the handles is even worse than yours! And the hardware stickers were already removed, so I’m guessing someone else returned it and then it came to me. 😡 I’m so glad I saw your video before ordering mine, so thank you!

Wow, I've now seen quality issues with Kusama, Monoglam and the Kid Super Keepall (the portrait white one 25)... I purchased it and it has the exact same issue with the handle. It's attached at an angle that's not symmetrical so the handle does not lie flat. I plan to return, since it's nearly $3000. I also saw dents and asymmetrical piping on the Kusama speedy, along with dents too. I had to go through a couple to get a decent one. The Monoglam monograms are also stitched into the bag diagnonally on the speedy and the pochette metis in some cases. I exchanged one also. 😆 I have to purchase two or so of each bag online to make sure that I actually like it. And yes, I completely agree with you, to keep buying things and not know if the quality will be ok. It's stressful, time consuming and annoying. That bag should have not passed quality control, as many others. I may try to order that bag with the credit from my faulty Keepall & I will let you know if I do...😅

sometimes those dents are caused by these clamps they use to hold the bag while they sew it. I had that happen to two different items. I understand totally what you're saying about the handle. my last bag came with a slice in the handle. A SLICE! and it was nearly impossible to exchange bc I had to return to the original boutique my husband bought it in (one hour ferry ride away!).and I was mad they sold it to him in the first place bc he is not a quality control expert. It will be my last new LV, there is no luxury left in the brand.

He noticed it and had to tell the SA in store (he said it looked, as if a knife went through it). How do they not notice flaws like that themselves 🤯 and sell such bags to customers?! U have a bad luck with your item. But these days the quality issues has been increased so many returns. I got a cousin bag from the store and once I went back to the hotel I noticed many abvious issues. Like many white dots and the leather was rubbed from the corners. And when I took it back she told me it is a defect bag

This is the exact watch I'm wearing: amzn.to/3W4snjG It's not a very expensive luxury one, but I absolutely fell in love with the Tiffany Turquoise dial aswell. (And it's a mens watch, but I didn't mind, cause I liked the bigger size a lot)
Mine had the same problems with the handles, also the one on the front was wonky while the one on the back was better. I've ordered a replacement and it had the same problems with the handle again!😔 I did some research on checking pictures of others and all the handles seem croocked the same way. I decided to take it home because at least this piece was a bit better but it did make me second guess what I'm actually paying for.

I feel for you. And i understand you would rather avoid dealing with the return and possibly get another problem. Also, I'm not quite sure about this but be very careful with how many times an item get returned and replaced or getting store credit with. I think it might be two times and then the house takes the cash and you are stuck with the bag. I think something like that was mentioned in the policy
😳😱 that sounds like a terrible policy (especially with online orders and not exactly knowing, what one will get). Glad I decided to send it back and not even try a second time, I really wouldn’t want to be stuck with an expensive, but possibly imperfect bag 🙈
It's not acceptable I 💯% agree. However I have and love my pink denim Nano Speedy and my monogram Nano Turenne, no quality issue, smooth zippers and much easier in/out access. I am assuming it has to do with the less flexible empreinte leather which they should put into consideration.
Glad to hear your LV nano bags have the quality they should have! Maybe empreinte leather really isn’t a good choice for such small pieces - but then LV should not even offer them 😕
The bag is beautiful but it is definitely not perfect as it should be! I am glad you are returning it! We all deserve our idea of perfection for the amount of money we are spending.

What a shame for the quality problems. The color and hardware shade is stunning. This lagoon colour is hard to come by for designer brands, and definitely a must have shade for those who love tiffany inspired colours!

Omg lumi this is a no 👎. Those handles omg 😱. My sister got card the card holder with the charms in the same collection and the leather and color is awesome. The bag looks good too even with the issue 😂. I would say return it and get a new one with no quality issues. Hopefully this gets solved for you ❤
I wish I would have bought a perfect cardholder aswell, instead of a faulty bag😭. Unfortunately it didn’t get solved in a positive way, I would say it got even worse, when I asked customer service for the return

Lv really needs to work on their quality control and perhaps trains their workers better. I’m even afraid to get anything from them anymore. I bought two bags in the recent past and have to return both for exchanges and still got defective bags so I just decided to let go of both. It’s just very sad. It’s stressful to buy luxury now due to quality issues.

What a disappointment. I haven’t purchased from LV in years. I hated the poor packaging and anticipating the quality issues. There was no joy. I just ordered a round coin purse from Celine and they packaged it with cotton pillows so it wouldn’t move during shipping. COTTON PILLOWS 😅 It is unbelievable that LV hasn’t managed to package with air pillows or tissue paper. Ridiculous to put a nano bag in a box that’ll get bounced around with no protection. I’m sorry to see what should’ve been an exciting moment for you turn so frustrating. Glad you’re returning it and not settling for this poor quality. 🙃

Vielleicht wäre Boutiquekauf besser. Dann kannst du das Produkt direkt im Geschäft checken und verhinderst so den Frust beim Auspacken. Falls keine Boutique bei dir in der Nähe ist: Ich habe eine super SA in einem LV-Geschäft die mir die Sachen immer bestellt, im Geschäft dann checkt und anschließend mir liebevoll verpackt zusendet 😊 Wäre das was auch für dich?
Hallo Anna, ja ich bestelle (leider) meistens online, weil ich keine Boutique in der Nähe habe. Ich hatte mal eine SA, über die ich Bestellungen aufgeben konnte (vorab Prüfung und Fotos hatte sie mir aber nie geschickt 😅). Ich glaube aber sie arbeitet inzwischen nicht mehr für LV, irgrndwann hatte ich nämlich einfach keine Antworten mehr bekommen (obwohl ich keine schwierige Kundin war😂.. wenn ich etwas angefragt hatte, habe ich es auch gekauft. Und „damals“ auch noch nicht die Probleme mit der Qualität und Rückgaben gehabt 🙈). Ich denke, wenn ich wieder einen konkreten Ansprechpartner hätte und die Sachen vorab sogar geprüft werden würde, würde mir das sehr helfen.. kaufe aber leider nicht so häufig etwas (vor allem nicht vor Ort), dass es mir leicht fallen würde, eine Beziehung aufzubauen 🙈

Thank you Kate! I agree, that especially on TH-cam, some people search for the tiniest flaws, to be able to make a clickbaity video out of it😁. But unfortunately it feels like, I do have a knack for getting the worst items (once I got a LV Neverfull, that was missing an entire stud 😂🙈)
Yikes I’ve also had really bad luck with the nano speedy but in the monogram. I’ve seen probably about 20 in the past year and all had issues: 1. One had a popped stitch. I so wish I could show photos but basically the stitching was broken in one area in the middle of the bag and the CA tried to blame it on the fact that the area was where the stitches ended…. Um the stitching ended in the middle of the bag? Lol 2. My first nano speedy purchased last year had peeled and cracked glazing in the handles after I used it once 3. The leather underneath handles were horribly wrinkled on 3 of the ones I saw 4. Glazing bleeding onto the stitching and the leather. Like there was literally a red streak of glazing that had bled onto the side of the leather 5. 2 of the bags had the same issue as yours where the handles were uneven and won’t lay down flat. 6. This is probably the worst issue and I’ll try my best to explain it. I’ve seen this in about 90% of the bags and I wish I could post photos. Essentially, the bottom area where the handles meet the metal squares, there’s suppose to be glazing on the bottom. I’ve only seen 2 bags that are glazed properly there, and the rest are missing glazing and it looks like they just quickly smeared some left over glazing. This was the issue with my first bag and I didn’t notice until after I saw that the glazing had peeled - probably because it was so thin and wasn’t properly glazed.

I’ve returned 3 online orders and exchanged it twice and I finally have one that I’m happy with but it’s still not perfect. It literally took me a whole year to find one that I was somewhat satisfied with - started last year in May 2022 and this year in March 2023 I finally found one that was alright but still has some minor issues

Yes, I understand how you feel. Getting disappointed over and over again. It is really upsetting. In the future, maybe you buy LV classic bags instead of new seasonal ones. They might have rushed out new models and overlooked the workmanship. But, what to do?!? I really love their monogram print but worry to get a poor workmanship bag. 😥 😅 😢

Such a shame…. The only thing going for this bag was the colour and capacity. Just too many defects to justify keeping it. Let’s hope LV and other luxury houses will finally wake up to their declining quality and treat their consumers with more respect than this. I don't think you're overreacting at all, Mary. If you pay the kind of money we now have to pay for a brand new bag, it should meet a higher level of quality standards - period. End of story. I was watching a video from a former Louis Vuitton sales associate who got to tour one of their manufacturing facilities in California, and it was interesting to me that there are stations where an aspect of the bag is constructed and they're manned by more than one person like an assembly line. I feel like the more people that touch a single bag - particularly if they're working at a fast pace - the opportunity for mistakes and poor craftsmanship is just higher. I find that bags that are assembled by a single craftsman - focused on one bag for "x" amount of hours - to be of a higher level of quality. It's too bad ... I'm a huge Louis Vuitton fan, but I flat out refuse to buy anything new because I see too much of this sort of thing happening. I'm more than happy to stick to my vintage preloved bags that have the quality you'd expect from a high end designer.

I heard that LV doesn’t let a single craftsman produce their bags anymore, apparently there‘s one for each part (one doing the handles, one doing the hardware, one doing the stiching, and so on,…). Maybe that explains, why the quality got so poor 😭 there‘s not one person accountable anymore
I haven‘t bought anything brandnew from Louis Vuitton in over a year, because of my negative experiences in the recent past. I gave them a chance now, because I really liked that bag and I do have a long relationship with the brand. LV was my first designer bag, more than 12 years ago and in the first years, I just made positive experience. Probably this will not be my last purchase for good, because I do believe, that companies can change and improve for the better - especially when they used to be known for their quality. Nothing weird about that 🤷🏻♀️

I feel for you. And i understand you would rather avoid dealing with the return and possibly get another problem. Also, I'm not quite sure about this but be very careful with how many times an item get returned and replaced or getting store credit with. I think it might be two times and then the house takes the cash and you are stuck with the bag. I think something like that was mentioned in the policy

It's not acceptable I 💯% agree. However I have and love my pink denim Nano Speedy and my monogram Nano Turenne, no quality issue, smooth zippers and much easier in/out access. I am assuming it has to do with the less flexible empreinte leather which they should put into consideration.
Glad to hear your LV nano bags have the quality they should have! Maybe empreinte leather really isn’t a good choice for such small pieces - but then LV should not even offer them 😕
The bag is beautiful but it is definitely not perfect as it should be! I am glad you are returning it! We all deserve our idea of perfection for the amount of money we are spending.

Omg lumi this is a no 👎. Those handles omg 😱. My sister got card the card holder with the charms in the same collection and the leather and color is awesome. The bag looks good too even with the issue 😂. I would say return it and get a new one with no quality issues. Hopefully this gets solved for you ❤
I wish I would have bought a perfect cardholder aswell, instead of a faulty bag😭. Unfortunately it didn’t get solved in a positive way, I would say it got even worse, when I asked customer service for the return

Lv really needs to work on their quality control and perhaps trains their workers better. I’m even afraid to get anything from them anymore. I bought two bags in the recent past and have to return both for exchanges and still got defective bags so I just decided to let go of both. It’s just very sad. It’s stressful to buy luxury now due to quality issues.

What a disappointment. I haven’t purchased from LV in years. I hated the poor packaging and anticipating the quality issues. There was no joy. I just ordered a round coin purse from Celine and they packaged it with cotton pillows so it wouldn’t move during shipping. COTTON PILLOWS 😅 It is unbelievable that LV hasn’t managed to package with air pillows or tissue paper. Ridiculous to put a nano bag in a box that’ll get bounced around with no protection. I’m sorry to see what should’ve been an exciting moment for you turn so frustrating. Glad you’re returning it and not settling for this poor quality. 🙃

Vielleicht wäre Boutiquekauf besser. Dann kannst du das Produkt direkt im Geschäft checken und verhinderst so den Frust beim Auspacken. Falls keine Boutique bei dir in der Nähe ist: Ich habe eine super SA in einem LV-Geschäft die mir die Sachen immer bestellt, im Geschäft dann checkt und anschließend mir liebevoll verpackt zusendet 😊 Wäre das was auch für dich?
Hallo Anna, ja ich bestelle (leider) meistens online, weil ich keine Boutique in der Nähe habe. Ich hatte mal eine SA, über die ich Bestellungen aufgeben konnte (vorab Prüfung und Fotos hatte sie mir aber nie geschickt 😅). Ich glaube aber sie arbeitet inzwischen nicht mehr für LV, irgrndwann hatte ich nämlich einfach keine Antworten mehr bekommen (obwohl ich keine schwierige Kundin war😂.. wenn ich etwas angefragt hatte, habe ich es auch gekauft. Und „damals“ auch noch nicht die Probleme mit der Qualität und Rückgaben gehabt 🙈). Ich denke, wenn ich wieder einen konkreten Ansprechpartner hätte und die Sachen vorab sogar geprüft werden würde, würde mir das sehr helfen.. kaufe aber leider nicht so häufig etwas (vor allem nicht vor Ort), dass es mir leicht fallen würde, eine Beziehung aufzubauen 🙈

Thank you Kate! I agree, that especially on TH-cam, some people search for the tiniest flaws, to be able to make a clickbaity video out of it😁. But unfortunately it feels like, I do have a knack for getting the worst items (once I got a LV Neverfull, that was missing an entire stud 😂🙈)

Yikes I’ve also had really bad luck with the nano speedy but in the monogram. I’ve seen probably about 20 in the past year and all had issues:
1. One had a popped stitch. I so wish I could show photos but basically the stitching was broken in one area in the middle of the bag and the CA tried to blame it on the fact that the area was where the stitches ended…. Um the stitching ended in the middle of the bag? Lol
2. My first nano speedy purchased last year had peeled and cracked glazing in the handles after I used it once
3. The leather underneath handles were horribly wrinkled on 3 of the ones I saw
4. Glazing bleeding onto the stitching and the leather. Like there was literally a red streak of glazing that had bled onto the side of the leather
5. 2 of the bags had the same issue as yours where the handles were uneven and won’t lay down flat.
6. This is probably the worst issue and I’ll try my best to explain it. I’ve seen this in about 90% of the bags and I wish I could post photos. Essentially, the bottom area where the handles meet the metal squares, there’s suppose to be glazing on the bottom. I’ve only seen 2 bags that are glazed properly there, and the rest are missing glazing and it looks like they just quickly smeared some left over glazing. This was the issue with my first bag and I didn’t notice until after I saw that the glazing had peeled - probably because it was so thin and wasn’t properly glazed.

I’ve returned 3 online orders and exchanged it twice and I finally have one that I’m happy with but it’s still not perfect. It literally took me a whole year to find one that I was somewhat satisfied with - started last year in May 2022 and this year in March 2023 I finally found one that was alright but still has some minor issues

Yes, I understand how you feel. Getting disappointed over and over again. It is really upsetting. In the future, maybe you buy LV classic bags instead of new seasonal ones. They might have rushed out new models and overlooked the workmanship. But, what to do?!? I really love their monogram print but worry to get a poor workmanship bag. 😥 😅 😢

Such a shame…. The only thing going for this bag was the colour and capacity. Just too many defects to justify keeping it. Let’s hope LV and other luxury houses will finally wake up to their declining quality and treat their consumers with more respect than this. I don't think you're overreacting at all, Mary. If you pay the kind of money we now have to pay for a brand new bag, it should meet a higher level of quality standards - period. End of story. I was watching a video from a former Louis Vuitton sales associate who got to tour one of their manufacturing facilities in California, and it was interesting to me that there are stations where an aspect of the bag is constructed and they're manned by more than one person like an assembly line. I feel like the more people that touch a single bag - particularly if they're working at a fast pace - the opportunity for mistakes and poor craftsmanship is just higher. I find that bags that are assembled by a single craftsman - focused on one bag for "x" amount of hours - to be of a higher level of quality. It's too bad ... I'm a huge Louis Vuitton fan, but I flat out refuse to buy anything new because I see too much of this sort of thing happening. I'm more than happy to stick to my vintage preloved bags that have the quality you'd expect from a high end designer.

I heard that LV doesn’t let a single craftsman produce their bags anymore, apparently there‘s one for each part (one doing the handles, one doing the hardware, one doing the stiching, and so on,…). Maybe that explains, why the quality got so poor 😭 there‘s not one person accountable anymore

I haven‘t bought anything brandnew from Louis Vuitton in over a year, because of my negative experiences in the recent past. I gave them a chance now, because I really liked that bag and I do have a long relationship with the brand. LV was my first designer bag, more than 12 years ago and in the first years, I just made positive experience. Probably this will not be my last purchase for good, because I do believe, that companies can change and improve for the better - especially when they used to be known for their quality. Nothing weird about that 🤷🏻♀️
