For the eye shadow palettes I think it should remain 2 palettes, to keep it in line with this video, but within categories of eye shadows, so 2 travel palettes, 2 bright palettes, 2 neutral, 2 monochromatic, 2 drug store, 2 high end, 2 colabs. It will make it more interesting that just 10 palettes.

The first makeup product I think of that I cannot do without is my NARS Afterglow lip balm in orgasm. Just ordered a second tube! It is that much of a holy grail for me! I started getting overwhelmed with makeup and beauty within the last two years myself. As a result, I discontinued my beauty subscriptions and started thinking quality over quantity with my purchases. I also worked on getting rid of the collector's mindset. My wallet is a LOT happier now hehe :)

Hi Sam, I have the Dior Powder No Powder and I love it....the effect is a wonder. BUT...it keeps getting hard pan?!?!?!?! Why? Does yours? what do you do to fix it and stop it? Thanks
I also bought it about a month ago and am having the same problem. I don't even find that it blurs my skin. I'm like wth am I doing wrong here. I keep scraping it, but geez I hate to do that and waste product.
I think it would be interesting to see how many you think you could realistically be happy having around. Like, how minimal do you think you might want to go? It's a good exercise for the big 2022 purge. Maybe once you make your selections you can test out just having them and the items you chose today in your vanity / beauty space. Them you can see how much more you want around. You might find you're good with 2 bronzers. You might find you want all 30 of them babies to stay. Maybe start of with which palettes you would immediately replace if all were lost, and then the ones you'd want to add back in over time. To some minimal is 1 or 2. For some it's 5 to 10. As a beauty lover I've got around 25 -30 in my collection. It feels abit excessive but at this point I don't want to throw out or give them away just to meet a minimal benchmark. I think if I were going minimal I'd be happy with all my 14 pan Sigma palettes (I own them all) and my Auric Smoke Reflects (I own Defiance and Temper.) I'd like to keep around Soft Glam by ABH too though. Sooo... about 8 palettes and 2 single eyeshadows.
Ok how do you go through so many powder no powders?! Mine has lasted sooooo long and still no pan with alost daily use. I use a buffing brush or a huge fluffy brush. What am i doing wrong lol

Oh man this would be so hard! I don’t know what I’d pick! I think I’d do: Bronzers: too faced chocolate soleil Butter bronzer in deep Blush: buxom Seychelles, Patrick ta she’s blushing. I came back to edit. After watching this and seeing Samantha show her collab blush, I know I love it and it’s been in my top drawer since I got it, but I haven’t worn it since probably last year! But now I just got done doing my makeup for the day and I used it. I would keep this chick lit blush over the Patrick ta she’s blushing. They do look similar, but Samantha’s is just much easier to use. It’s such a great blush! Face palette: Nars orgasm on the beach palette. Highlight: Dior backstage glow in universal. Eyeshadow : too faced chocolate bar! I can get a glam look, bold look, light look. Yea it has some duds, and I almost always do just the one look, but I can get a variety if I want to. I might have better formulas, but the tones of brown in those palette just aren’t quite right. Mascara: stila huge Lip liner: Mac whirl Lipstick: maybelline superstar ink lip crayon in On the grind ;as my 2nd lipliner), Achieve it All, and Lead the Way. Gloss: maybe my Mary Kay nourishine lipgloss in cafe au lait? But it’s discontinued. Chapstick! Eyeliner: not sure what they’re called but just a deep brown L’Oréal or maybelline. Brow: it cosmetics Powder: maybe the LYS? Maybe the Kosas? Foundation/concealer: neutrogena hydro boost skin tint, only the foundation.
Wow major declutter i would have done 10 of each and replace when getting pr or buying.. Would love to see dupes or affordable compared to high end with some looks with them. Maybe old school and new looks. Have a wonderful, safe, fun trip. Future doing friens,family either different age and skin what products and why it performs better

You've inspired me to declutter my collection. Granted I only have a drawer full but I keep on reaching for just a few favorites everyday and on special occasions add another color on eyes, glossy lips or even red on lips! I think you should keep your favorite basic eyeshadow palette and a different palette for each season so 5 eyeshadow palettes.

For the eyeshadow video, as a true lover of eyeshadow I am going to give my current numbers to keep it real: - 5 small ones (from quads to 9-12 shades), they have to fit in your hand palm. - 8 more regular size palettes (like the ones from Melt, ABH or UD Nakeds). - 4 single powder shadows. - 4 single cream shadow. - 2 face palettes that you use as eyeshadows ahaha Thats it. I think is pretty realistic to have that amount, so for your video, you might consider this numbers.

I could narrow down my eye shadow palettes to 15. Blushes to 5. Foundations and concealer to 3. Face powder 2. Bronzer 1. Highlighter 3. Mascara 2. Brows 3. Lip products, nah, not doing it. 🤪😂
How about 2 of each size? Like large pallet, 12 or 14 pan pallet, 5 pan and so forth till you get to singles.
