Live with Kelly and Ryan is a snoozefest and I cant imagine and believe it is still on the air. After Regis, all down hill. The major reasons this is a terrible terrible show is after Regis left the hosts dont discuss ANYTHING topical. They never ever ever address or discuss anything happening in the world, outside of Joaquin's wrestling matches or Ryans dog Georgia. Day after day after day. No one expects them to discuss politics but they acknowledge nothing going on outside of their own narcissm. It is very Stepford...... Sometimes I think they are going to put each other to sleep. It is SO boring. These are two dynamic and capable broadcasters. It doenst have to be mundane but it is. Who is watching this? At least when they had a studio audience there was some injection of enthusiasm and a tiny bit of life! Now we hear the sound of 4 or 5 crew members. What is the reason that this show is so precious they cant have studio audience back. Every other show in NYC films with live studio audience. Michael & Ryan just didn't want the stress when,they're on a whole other level than her in my opinion !!! Kelly is brilliant, comedic, witty just like all male night time talk hosts. Ryan has good stories but, he is a "One" man show. He doesnt have the patience to listen to his co-host stories. He was constantly interrupting her and putting his own words & sentences to complete "HER" stories. He would accuse Kelly " Why are you yelling". Little bickering that was noticeable to me, the viewer. He is NOT happy unless he has all the gigs on TV. They have a name for that behavior. He is 48, drinks many caffeine coffee drinks a day, getting sick alot working bi-coastal. Bound to take a toll on him. It's about time Disney Executives made an exit plan for Ryan. I believe he was canned and they allowed him to say "I" Am Resigning and having Ryan's girlfriend there on Thursday was so orchestrated.
