It would have been better to point out that saying you can't prove one is a nationality isn't a good example of proving a negative. Better to ask if he can prove there are no unicorns in the universe or something else that can't be fully investigated.
Since when has Norwegian nationality been dependent upon genetic ancestry? I don't think that the Norwegian authorities are into that genetic purity stuff.
Yup, you can't prove I didn't create everything last Thursday. Sorry about all the idiots -- I'll pull back on the Willful Stupidity and Arrogance when I do the reboot this week.
If a person of middle east decent was born in Norway from parents that are Norwegian citizens, they would be from Norway even if they had no Norwegian DNA. So DNA cannot prove someone is not from Norway. People move around. People have always moved around. If you go back far enough, all humans' ancestors are from Africa. So DNA can never be 100% accurate in determining nationality. Humans have only one distinct race: human. (DNA tests to determine ancestry are, to a degree, a scam. At best, If they were perfected, they could determine where your ancestors MOST LIKELY lived.)
Let's just say that you can't prove the non-existence of some universal God, that doesn't at all mean then that you should believe in a God that you can't prove to exist. That said, the Gods contained in all human religions can be proven to all be of human creation.
The thing with the DNA example is that there ultimately are limited options. With respect to a God existing in (or outside) the universe, at least currently, there's a potentially infinite, limitless possibility that's beyond our capability to know completely. That said, I certainly do think that we can prove the non-existence of human religions Gods by proving that they are all human creations or human cultural creations.
Do you think that slavery is wonderful? *Leviticus 25:44-45 KJV* Both thy bondmen (archaic for male slaves), and thy bondmaids (archaic for female slaves), which thou shalt have, shall be of the heathen that are round about you; of them shall ye buy bondmen and bondmaids. Moreover of the children of the strangers that do sojourn among you, of them shall ye buy, and of their families that are with you, which they begat in your land: and they shall be your possession. This bible verse tells you that it's okay to buy slaves from other nations as well as foreigners who live among you. Do you think that slavery is moral? If no, then why didn't your god simply say "Thou shalt not own humans like property"?
There were young women and girls kept as war trophies by your god's "chosen" people. *Numbers 31:9 KJV* And the children of Israel *took all the women of Midian captives, and their little ones,* and took the spoil of all their cattle, and all their flocks, and all their goods. *Exodus 21:2 KJV* If thou buy an Hebrew servant, six years he shall serve: and in the seventh he shall go out free for nothing. *Non-Hebrew "servants" were kept for life instead of freeing them.* And since when can you *BUY servants instead of hiring* them? Why doesn't *Leviticus 25:44-45 KJV* talk about servants and instead mentions bondmen/bondmaids (archaic for slaves)? In which reality are servants your money as if they belong to you like property? *Exodus 21:20-21 KJV* And if a man smite his servant, or his maid, with a rod, and he die under his hand; he shall be surely punished. Notwithstanding, if he continue a day or two, he shall not be punished: *for he is his money.* Why should servants fear their employ- er, I mean master? *Ephesians 6:5 KJV* "Servants, be obedient to them that are your masters according to the flesh, *with fear and trembling,* in singleness of your heart, as unto Christ;" Why should servants fear god if he is loving and good? *Colossians 3:22-4:1 KJV* Servants, obey in all things your masters according to the flesh; not with eyeservice, as menpleasers; but in singleness of heart, *fearing God;*
You cant prove I dont have an invisible magical faith-based dragon in my garage…therefore he is real. Probably.

10:44 while we are nitpicking - 99.9999… actually equals 100

The notion that you can't prove a negative is problematic. The caller seems to think this is a logical absolute.

It also may be impossible for any gods to exist.
so people of non norwegian heritage cant be from norway? thats the fallacy
They did clarify that he is referring to people of Norwegian ancestry, not just physically living in the country of Norway
Repent. Believe in Jesus Christ for salvation. Become a new person in this life. John 3:16, Matthew 4:17, 2 Corinthians 5:17 KJV
cool story.
Chill out bro
