Matco is a reliable brand that produces high-quality tools for mechanics. As a fellow HD mechanic, I can attest to the durability of their products. It's fascinating to see how these large drill bits are manufactured in a factory, and it's a testament to the precision and attention to detail required to create essential tools for our profession. Thanks for sharing this informative video!
Wow! You actually described the right procedure at the wrong time, I’m a machinist and it’s obvious that you don’t know what you’re talking about...lol
Unbelievable the number of inaccuracies in the narration. I quit after they described the lathe cutting the flutes (it was turning the Morse taper shank).
Big sockets over 3 inches are generally used for instance high voltage power lines and have an external hex head and a sledging spanner is used to tighten the nut not a air socket or cordless driver. Other applications include ship engine building/repairs, large machines like wind turbine.etc
Its nice that the workers have jobs but such a shame the lack of safety. Several mentioned in other comments, but most shocking is the presses. With hand going in and out of a press like that it's just a matter time.
This is exactly why some tools are so cheap, people work on old inaccurate machines with minimal safety, Nitriding is in a crowded bin where individual tools touch, and nitriding is not all over the surface, but it can fit a lot. I would like to see a video of a modern drill factory.
@ 1:27, you guys need to fire your editor (and Matco tools needs to sue you) "hexavalent chromium"? really? Do the words "Erin Brockovich" mean anything to you?
The terminology in this narration is so bad it's unwatchable. If you're going to be bothered creating a video at least take the time to understand it and correctly narrate it.
These workers of the first part of the video, who work with heavy materials, work with grinding machines and in a highly noisy environment, do not have safety shoes, any type of safety glasses and do not have any type of ear protection. This video should be used for illustrative purposes of what a workplace should NOT be like..
I didn't even have to watch this video to know that it was a waste of time. How did I know this? Easily. The title is "How The Large Drill Bits Produced In Factory" (Etc). But the Picture is of a huge CIRCULAR SAW BLADE! Bad enough that your grammar is bad, but you don't know the difference between a saw and a drill? Yikes.
Faster you slaves. If you aren't sweating, you aren't working hardcore. I need those tools for my electric cars so that people will think I'm a genius. This is why you make minimum wage and I make 25,000 times your salary for going around giving interviews about how I'm uplifting society. - - Elon Musk
This video is helpful for us who have any access to the factory to see how things are done
At 4:08 that is turning the Morse taper not cutting the flutes, that was done earlier by a forging not turning process. Do keep up.
Yeah, I question the "once the plating is complete, the ratchet goes through machining" 1:43
it sure made me laugh my ass off.......bravo @@x1xBryanx1x
I have used Matco0 for years now and never had a failure. I am a HD mechanic and have to lean on my tools a lot !

I wanted to stop, but it’s like a car wreck. I can’t look away😂
It's all great, that's all he has to say!
Kill
Also these were twist drills, not drill bits. When people say drill bit to me I tell them to keep their fingers away and it won’t bite you.

Hello kita hadir lahi nonton
Did any of the employees wear safety glasses?
China technology for the world 🌎🌎🌍🌍🌍👍
Yeah

Lmfao. Go have a look at parts made for Toyota in India, then talk about safety...

Lol… the narration is nothing like the action in the vid😂👍
Matco is good
Wasn’t that blade in a James Bond movie?

Awful audio. This is just an automated, script reading bot. Content is good, but audio is terrible.

Their tools are not cheap - they should do better from an ethical point . I will not buy their tools🤨
Where's the massive blade from the thumbnail?
Amazon now has it for use in some of their saw blade thumbnails.
Audio does not match what is actually happening in some cases. Thumbs down!
Saw blade not drill bit thumbnail
This is where "quality" tools are made? Try again.
That godawful annoying background noise in this video makes it not viewable.

For an American company in Stow, Ohio, there are a bunch of Asian workers. Interesting.
Made in China. Not much made in the USA anymore.
I tak oto dowiedziałem się jak produkują piły tarczowe - typowy chińskie video
