At first I was sympathising with a him a bit as it's easy to forget stuff and sleep in but jeez that went from 0 to 100 real quick 👀

I was married to "always late". He's a grown man and needs to start taking responsibility.
He's going to get a surprise at Marine book camp.

All these late people do is blame other people. Why didn't u wake me up? Why didn't you reminded me? Why didn't u do these or that? Bro no one has a clock in their head everyone plan ahead and care about these to make things happen at time. I am not a early riser but if i had to catch a flight or bus at 4 or 5 am i would prepare everything the night ahead. Set alarms starting 2.45 so tht i could leave at time. No I don't wake up automatically but i consciously make the effort even if my eyes don't get open.

NTA. Your bf is a doofus. You reap what you sow. Have a great trip.

His mom said therapy makes your brain sick... There is no hope for that man. His mother will forever enable him and actively work in the background to discredit any progress he actually makes in therapy.
I have ADHD. I struggle severely with time blindness. I have 4 kids, all with ADHD. All with time blindness. We set a lot of alarms and reminders. Sometimes we all oversleep. It happens, rarely, but it happens. So I get that there may be times that he truly feels like it wasn't his fault. Or that he was genuinely trying and it just didn't work out the way he expected it to and he was late anyways. That happens to me, too.
The thing is that not only is he not taking responsibility, but also he has a mother who is actively telling him he is not at fault.
If he doesn't yet have an ADHD diagnosis he needs to get a professional evaluation. The diagnosis along with behavioral therapy will give him the tools he needs to be able to work with his brain instead of against it. He needs to accept that his issues are chronic and that he's the only one who can change it. Therapy and possibly medication are there for him to be able to change the trajectory of his life, bringing it back under his control instead of the chaos and blame game cycle he's currently in.
If he were able to get his ADHD symptoms under control he would likely be less volatile. The chaos in his head exacerbates things. And it is all made worse by his enabling mother. If she truly wanted to help her son then she would help him get therapy. But as it is he relies on her and she feels needed. She will never do anything that will change his need to rely on her. She is his biggest hurdle to correcting his own behavior.

Some of this is like ADHD but there is something else going on too. He needs to be evaluated professionally.
He is going to find military life difficult if he doesn’t get diagnosed and treated.
