As a Malaysian, although, we neighbors with Thailand, our language, culture, people and mentality are very different between us with the exception of Malays in Southern Thailand
Thai surely feel more connected to the mainland countries like Cambodia, Vietnam and Laos and even with East Asia, they are mostly budhist and eat with chopsticks.
We Malaysians are more connected to Indonesia, Brunei, Singapore and Philippines culturally, linguistically and ethnically although we share the land border with Thailand, I think its very unique. I hope we can continue our good relationship for the better future
I think this is true but maybe you are forgetting that southern Thailand that borders Malaysia is mostly muslim so the culture and food is a bit different to the rest of Thailand.

Excellent in so many ways. I love the way you mix up three different interviews - it keeps it really interesting. The actual content of the questions and opinions are incidental - what's super useful is the casual conversation, Thai people speaking in a natural way so that we can practice listening. It's great too, how you keep them talking with your fluent Thai. By the editing, I can also tell there are some flubs, so you did a lot of work.
What if you ask questions about pets, gardening, or other hobbies people have? Or about their favorite places and experiences in Thailand. The 'around the world' questions are a brilliant scheme - more of these would also be good. Also if you could interview some older people, that would be interesting.
I've learned more in the last 20 minutes than I have in a month - watching more. 🙏🙏🙏

The tings about Kazakhstan are definetely wrong. Kazakhstan🇰🇿 is the greatest country with their tradition. The most popular things in Kazakhstan: statue of gold human, chocolate, mountains, Kaspi sea and a snow leopard.
In summer here is really hot, in winter can be cold in some parts of the country. The biggest city (the most beautiful) is Almaty.
P. S. I am Russian who was born Kazakhstan. I am here now for visiting my family. But in few days I will go to travel to Thailand. 🇹🇭

he may have done Laos or Cambodia but decided not to put it in. Thais look down on them with a passion. In my school the kids call each other Laotians as insults, it's pretty sad
Well it’s very common for countries to have conflicts with their neighboring countries, not just Thailand. Like Vietnam-Cambodia, Malaysia-Singapore, India-Pakistan, China-Japan, Japan-Korea, China-Taiwan… Plus, Laos and Cambodia aren’t usually mentioned in these types of videos in the first place
It seems not making sense here if you compare the neighbors countries around Thailand because how could we compare the countries that more than 80% of their populations are working here in Thailand as a low labour class.
And this year Thai people are trying to send all of them back to their countries because I just saw on the Thai news just only the Cambodian people who came here illegal in Thailand are already more than 2 millions of them and also Laos and Myanmar just their illegal labour here in Thailand are more than 10 millions, and these people came here Illegal!!!! And that's why when you go to their countries its just like an abandoned country. And most of them came here to Scam the tourists, stealing the tourists bag and be a beggar here in Thailand.
And all the Thai people wanted now just wanted them all to go back to work in Their own countries. Because now its more than too much, yes let's think when 80% of the population from the 3 countries are working in your country!!! And making your country looks bad.
What do you think what the Thai people are thinking about them??

That's why you couldn't really compare Thailand to the countries around Thailand. Because there are no other answer.
For Japanese and Korean people, they moved to lived in Thailand a lot too according to more than 100,000++ Japanese population that's already moved to lived here in Thailand and also the Korean too, we even have the Japan town also the Korean town too but I have to say the people from these countries they came to lived here and not came here illegal like those neighbors countries and most of them have money and never came here to be a beggar and that's why.

And yes we Thai at that time were very humble and respect to those Laos labours so we Thai stop saying those word for long long time like more than 10 or 20 years ago but what many Thai people do not know is they all asean countries even Laos they still keep using the word "do not Thai to me" until this day. just the Thai people do not know because the Thai people rarely be in the asean community or read the asean news, so most Thai people stoped that bad behavior because we thought we are the only country that bullied Laos people but we Thai didn't know that it's very common and those Laos people that came out to asked the Thai to stop at that time were just wanted too much because their people still keep saying those words too and yes like I said Thailand is the most bullied country in asean if you're talking about this word. and I think It's just normal for any countries that lived beside each other my friend.
And do you know that if you search on the internet and listen to the asean community, the Thai country actually the one that all of them countries are bullying together with the word "do not Thai to me" and this word is also the famous slang word nowadays in 2023 for Laos and Cambodian teenagers too.
I forgot to tell you guys that for the Thai people in 2023 Countless of the Thai influencers or youtubers were warning about do not go to Laos and Cambodia because they aimed to scam every Thai people if we go there because they thought we Thai have money and rich and they all scam the Thai people much more than any other foreigners, and yes there are countless of videos on youtube about the Thai youtubers who were scammed or stealed by the Cambodian people even in front of the camera.
For Laos they even had to closed their famous markets because most of their customers are Thai people and after the Thai have a lot problems about them so we stop to go there so they have to close their markets, I saw on the news couple months ago.

I knew there were Thais who hated Korea but it seems there are more than I thought. However there is a bit of a negative image of Thai people in Korea as well. Because the largest number of illegal immigrants in Korea is Thais with 140,000 which is twice the number of Vietnamese illegal immigrants who are the second largest. And recently the number of Thais who commit drug distribution or crime is increasing.

In fact, the Korean War was caused by ideological conflicts between the Soviet Union and the United States, so instead there was a war in Korea. It is grateful that the liberal democratic system was established but Korea was divided. The armistice was agreed upon by the United States, China, and North Korea but South Korea did not agree to it. The war remains only sad feelings and memories for Koreans. Don't be offended if Koreans as tourists refer to Thailand as the little brother of Singapore or Malaysia or Indonesia and say that it is less 'wow' than those countries. I think that’s what makes Japan a more wanted tourist destination than South Korea.
