    Great video Chaos. The C2 is a good OLED from LG but a worthy successor to the C1? I still am on the fence on that one. I dont care for the build quality. I dont like the stand and the screen is thicker then on previous models such as the C1. Yes I am being nit picky lol. But there is no denying that LG has improved on the PQ in some ways and that's a good thing. What I am waiting to see is how LG answers next year with the whole QD-OLED thing with the C3 or if they even will. That being said. Have you seen LG's new gaming monitors for 2022? They look impressive especially the OLED monitor which is something I may or may not look into.

      Yeah, as far as next year and the C3, I'm not sure where LG goes from here. I feel like traditional WOLED TVs have been maxed out in terms of potential, or at least nearly maxed out. I think LG is going to have little choice but to pursue QD-OLED technology if they want to remain competitive and relevant moving forward. I suspect they will slide current G2 tech downward to the C3 net year, and their G3 will end up being QD-OLED.
      Regarding their monitors, I must confess, Ive not looked at them as i have zero intention of buying one given my recent C2 purchase.
      And PS - Yes, the C2 is a worthy successor to the C1. Don't feel like you are missing out though, the C1 is still great. But for my needs, the form factor and overall performance of the C2 so far has been a welcome - and somewhat surprising - upgrade.

    • @SteveSmith-cm1hx

      I pretty much agree with you Chaos. LG will go the QD-OLED route unless they have something else up their sleeves. Next year we shall see. As far as me feeling like I am missing out by not having a C2? No way. My C1 is more then just fine for the next few years if not more and when I am ready for an upgrade I am going the projection route. I have already been keeping a close eye on the laser projectors that I have been seeing. So after my C1 thats my next thing.

    Hi! Please go to the next scene, after the car crash, when Ethan walks through the woods and enters the cabin, there is an even darker scene. My monitor didn't handle this scene very well and I'm wondering how the C2 will perform in it.

    Whats about the Production? Have the c2 42 now the „real“ evo panel? Is there any signs to know which panel is installed?

    • @steadychaosproductions3376
      @steadychaosproductions3376  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      no way to know for sure unless you have a spectroradiometer, which almost no one has.
      The only other option is to bring up a full field white image on the screen and look off angle...if you see a pink tint, its likely WBE. If there is no tint at all, its more likely than not WBC.

    I ordered the QN90B 43 inch to use as a computer monitor. I currently have the lg C2 which I'm going to return because it's just not bright enough for me. The LG has great beautiful colors but it seems dim in PC mode.

      I get it, LED is brighter for sure. That said, how bright do you really want your monitor to get? I mean, you are sitting 2.5-3 feet from it for god sakes. haha

      Honestly, mine if WBC - I think - and Im just going to keep it. Picture quality is the same regardless of panel for 42" size.
      The only benefit for WBE is that its deuterium based and could be more resistant to burn in.

    This was a keeper for me as well i thought 3 days after i got it. But then i ran the Grey Uniformity Test and it has a weak vertical line that is only noticeable in clear white images. Not sure i should go with it because it's not that noticeable, or that it gets worse because i know it's a common thing with oleds.

      Panels uniformity can improve especially after 100 hours, actually 250-350+ is when those pixels get better. Its always a good idea to check after a good usage imo. Give it a few weeks usage or just before your return time etc

    • @steadychaosproductions3376
      @steadychaosproductions3376  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@mrpurpleman9698 Really? I don't mean those shadow-like lines. But more a thin scratch-like line that is noticeable in bright scenes such as the shot of the sky on a sunny day.
      Read that people get their panels replaced because of most likely a panel defect.

    • @mrpurpleman9698
      @mrpurpleman9698 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@steadychaosproductions3376 Yeah I wouldn't run the full one just in case of picture degradation (linus burn in vid), the regular pixel refreshers will help and after a few weeks use should improve if there are any issues.
